A win-win situation for all - we are going to enable sub-forums, however, all threads within these sub-forums are also in the main forum.

It looks better indeed - but we have to get the option to change between the layouts - list or cached - pls, do me that favor lol...
because now - the overview became better, but the appearance now looks asymmetric -

I like it too especially helps with keeping an overview of the threads

If in doubt ppl can post under the category/topic Turkish Navy.

Especially on phone

If people open new topics in the main forum the sub forums will become obsolete over time. This is a given.
It's the best to just delete the sub forums.

In addition, it will be more attractive to the average user to have an overview of topics. The forum also looks more active this way.

The same thread appearing twice doesn’t look good. I think we should consider unsticking some of these threads. I recall Cabatli put a lot of thought into sticking threads on the last forum. Perhaps we could start with the same topics.

The whole point of the sub-forums is to categorize threads.

I previously removed sub-forums all together but some people didn't like it because they preferred having threads about a similar topic grouped together...

Now with the new system, they can post threads in a subforum and it'll appear in the main forum too. It's a win-win for everyone.

Will we avoid having the same thread appearing twice on the same page ?

Also is it alright to move these thread into the correct subforum, so they’re attached to the right subforum (if they belong there of course).

I’d like a clear go, before doing it :)

Woah, I was unaware of threads appearing twice. I'll try to find out why this is happening.

Go ahead and make changes you like 😁

I deleted the duplicate threads. You can tell the duplicates from the originals because they have "N/A" in the reply section and a logo on the right side. I think it was due to a mistake I made when trying to add them to the sub-forums.

It's all good now, I checked some other nations and they didn't have it.
