If people open new topics in the main forum the sub forums will become obsolete over time. This is a given.
It's the best to just delete the sub forums.
In addition, it will be more attractive to the average user to have an overview of topics. The forum also looks more active this way.
The whole point of the sub-forums is to categorize threads.
I previously removed sub-forums all together but some people didn't like it because they preferred having threads about a similar topic grouped together...
Now with the new system, they can post threads in a subforum and it'll appear in the main forum too. It's a win-win for everyone.
Will we avoid having the same thread appearing twice on the same page ?
Also is it alright to move these thread into the correct subforum, so they’re attached to the right subforum (if they belong there of course).
