Russia will unite the whole of West and East Europe with this invasion.

Poles, Lets, Estonians, Romanians, Bulgars, Croats, Bosnians, Lithuanians, Moldovians, Hungarians, Greeks, Albanians, Macedons, Fins and Turks.

And with the help of the US, West and East will unite in their hate and resistance against Russia.

I foresee razzias against Russian nationals in every country and fierce fighting against the Red Army.

In fact, the Croats and a few other countries were talking about withdrawing troops from NATO. I guess they think they can get out of this storm without "angrying" the Russians.

We haven't yet heard much about Ukraine preparations, in fact from the tone of the Ukrainian govt, they doesn't seem worried and downplayed the whole threat . I don't know if its related to OPSEC or Zelensky doesn't believe of the possibility of war.

if the later is correct, Zelensky reminds me of Saddam during the days before OIF 2003. Where he firmly believe that no invasion will happen because of some imaginary factors that he created for himself.

And depending on the Ukrainian will to fight, we will either see Russian forces doing thunder run into Kiev or a Russian Fallujah.

Its strange to think that a nation will come under invasion and we are not even sure if it will fight it.

If tiny little Georgia can harm Russia in 2008, than Ukraine can harm then to. I dont think drinking and fighting is a good combination. Take a Russian his wife, no problem. Take his wodka you get war.

P

While the whole world is discussing Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine, the Russian "Gazprom" continues to supply gas to Europe through the Ukrainian GTS, without fear of the start of hostilities on its territory, which the United States prophesies. True, the volumes of gas pumped through Ukraine have almost halved.

"Gazprom" has almost halved the transit of gas through Ukraine compared to its contractual obligations under the agreement signed with Kiev. According to the GTS Operator of Ukraine, since last Thursday the daily volume of transit has not exceeded 58,62 million cubic meters, while Moscow has committed to pumping 109 million cubic meters per day.

Thus, "Gazprom" again returned to the average daily indicators of about half of the contract volumes after a short-term rise at the beginning of the month. Judging by the latest reports from Europe, the company does not intend to increase volumes. Moreover, the second gas pipeline "Yamal-Europe" is generally unclaimed, pumping through it has not been going on for quite a long time.

In the meantime, there seems to be enough gas in European UGS facilities, if there are no force majeure, the war continues in Europe around Nord Stream 2, which has become a hostage to the situation around Ukraine. The United States in the first place, and behind them the European allies, threaten Russia that they will stop the gas pipeline in the event of a Russian attack on Ukraine. The frequency of references to Nord Stream 2 in the statements of Western politicians leads to the idea that this entire campaign with Ukraine was started by the Americans with only one goal - to prevent the launch of the Russian gas pipeline.

By the way, David Hendrickson, a professor of political science at Colorado College, came up with such an idea, suggesting that all история with the "attack" on Ukraine is inflated only because of Nord Stream 2.

Oh it will put up a fight. But it's not certain if they'll continue the fight if Russia gets tougher on them. But if that happens, Russia will only anger more people and more countries around the World. In doing so, the public is most certainly going to push their governments to get thougher on Russia or in another way, if a government wants to be more U.S. aligned and get tougher on Russia, and the public support is not yet too high, they'll have a reason to push for more aggressive policies against Russia.

i am really surprised that a lot of users here think the majority of the public are mindless drones that follow everything the media says, but I guess that works really well with Turkey.
