Presence of Chinese labels/text is quite thought-provoking. Turkey was receiving help from China to establish solar plants but it doesnt say anywhere on KalyonPV's site about Chinese cooperation.

This is really important because we can produce chip-level wafers from that factory in the future when we want to set up a microchip FAB.

Although similar, you can't really use the same equipment to produce electronics and PV. But more importantly and similar to my own case, the scientists and engineers can work on both.

Also, Turkey already have IC manufacturing at 90/65nm node if i'm not mistaken. Work on that started in 2011.

Does the camera module include the sensor ? I mean .. does that mean they can produce the sensor itself ?

We won't produce electronics there we will produce silicon ingots and wafers.

ASELSAN: 1500 people in 2021, 1500 people in 2022

These are huge Corporations with several Facilities.
The growth implies much bigger things since the Company wasn't too big to begin with.

they should form a large complex area that includes production, research and development, testing and internship areas. If necessary, establishing a foundation university providing only aircraft, microelectronics and space technologies education on the same campus will pave the way for them to become a major global actor in the future. after this time, it is necessary to think much bigger.

Great. Hybrids right now are better than fully electric. They have some issues such as higher maintenance cost etc but they wont leave you in the middle of a road. Togg should have started with hybrids too, turkey does not have the right infrastructure for fully electric right now. You will end up with dozens of cars stranded on the middle of roads because their battery ran out like in some places in the US which do not have the right infrastructure but locals buy tesla.

All three giant companies gathered under one umbrella of Turasas.
The last two, a wagon builder and a rail car builder merged with Tulomsas who is a locomotive builder that can build marine Diesel engines as well. Tulomsas and GE transportation had combined their expertise to form a JV to produce locomotives in Turkey.
