Haven't they brought Elang Hitam's prototype, or the mock-up(s) to the fair? No pictures of that so far.

Its dead, no pride on it.

At least can be used for bragging

Seriously, they need to be more serious when taking big projects. Our BUMN projects management is kinda sucks, not to mention their bragging tendency and slow to act, and worse corrupt.

For example, since when Indonesia dabble with 122 mm rocket caliber? And how far the development today? How about the other projects?

And how much effective the Indonesian government support and supervision for such projects? Everything need to be revised and simplify.

Couldn't agree more, thats the truth thats the fact. You can buy tooling, you can hire experts, but it's need decade to revoke the unproductive managerial behaviour.

SOE that didn't have IPO have big tendencies to consume more money than making provit & products. *cough... PLN, PERTAMINA, etc.

For the first time since its participation in the Indo Defence Expo & Forum, Escribano Mechanical & Engineering (EM&E) has signed an agreement for the supply of its remote weapon station Guardian 1.5 to the Indonesian Army Motorized Brigade.

.....

During the exhibition,
EM&E has already concluded an agreement with the Indonesian company PT Jala Berikat, a private company dedicated to the industry of military and police tactical vehicles, non-military special vehicles and disaster management. PT Jala Berikat operates under the trade name of J-Forces, which is why, for the first time, the Spanish company will enter the Asian market thanks to the strategic industrial collaboration with this company and the sale of the remote weapon station Guardian 1.5 which will be on display at the J-Forces stand at Indo Defence Expo & Forum.

Marlin 40 RWS for PC-60M Dorang-class patrol vessel.

Leonardo provides latest-generation Marlin 40 naval defence system to Indonesia

The Independent Line of Sight (ILOS) variant of the 40mm turret will equip the Indonesian Navy’s PC60 fast patrol boats and Tank Landing Ship vessels.

Leonardo’s Marlin 40 naval remote weapon system has been selected to equip two Indonesian Navy PC60 fast patrol boats currently under construction at PT Caputra Mitra Sejati shipyard. This follows the procurement in 2021 of four Marlin 40 systems for two PC60 vessels and two Teluk Bintuni-class tank landing ships (LSTs). Both PC60 and LST will be equipped with the Marlin 40 Independent Line of Sight (ILOS) variant, the most feature-rich version of the turret. Further PC60 and LST vessels are expected to be built by Indonesian shipyards for the Navy.

....

The ILOS variant of Marlin 40 chosen by the Indonesian Navy is a highly-effective precision-fire system which can operate autonomously via a local control console. This brings together and processes the targeting data received from the turret’s own dedicated electro-optical system, external fire control systems and ship’s data, ensuring precision while incorporating a level of redundancy. The electro-optical director can rotate independently of the line of fire to deliver panoramic surveillance through a highly accurate sensor suite comprising a daylight camera, an InfraRed (IR) camera and a laser range finder.

This latest contract further develops Leonardo’s strong partnership with the Indonesian Navy, which has previously selected the company for its naval gunnery requirements. Today, 38 Indonesian vessels are operating Leonardo weapon systems. The Navy’s inventory includes Leonardo’s Marlin 30, Marlin 40 Twin Barrel and 76/62 SuperRapid. The latter is the best-selling medium-caliber naval gun mount available on the market, employed by 60 Navies and already installed on 15 Indonesian Navy vessels.

Siper - Block 1 is the real long range SAM with 150 km range and no additional booster, the one planned for TF-2000 ever since, along side with quadpackable Hisar - Naval and Siper - Block 0 recently.

I kept thinking about using all TF-2000 armament configuration when we decided to make our own AH140 design.

It has everything that Turkey can produce. CMS, SAM, AShM, ALKA, etc.

The fact that they plan to produce eight of them making sure that there'll be no problem in terms of spare parts and maintenance.

Now we're in the honeymoon period with the Turks, surely this should be an interesting option.

For Teluk Bintuni there will be 2 type? Ome is Teevra and this Marlin?

I know i wonder myself where's the logic behind this ? 40mm gun from L&T and then 40mm gun from Leonardo and all for 1 Class of LST.
Probably the Marlin 40 will go to KRI Teluk Bintuni & KRI Teluk Lada, they are the only two of the series that has single pedestal for gun turret, the other in the class has two. The Teevra will be mounted on the ship with two pedestal most likely.

The navy has been guilty of this sh*t all the time, for example Clurit class, consisting of 8 vessel has 4 different main gun, Sampari class, FPB-57 class has 2 different main gun. This still not mentioning their secondary gun full of multiple mixed type of caliber and version.
