we are lucky enough if we can have some LHD by now....
i think a step to have an Aircraft carrier with all those gas turbine / nuclear powered, arresting wires and ext is to big for countries like Indonesia.....
the way i see it, for now i think it would be great to have an LHD that big and qualified to support F35....

OR we follow the Turks path, only use helicopter and ucav, no need to be bigger but need a ski jump.we are lucky enough if we can have some LHD by now....

sound good, do TNI consider those UAV would be enough to support their mission?
UAV cant perform deep strike mission as good as a strike fighter, it can but take way longer time to get there and of course less payload and bla blabla....
well, i prefer something like ROKS Marado

The name is Bung Karno, so vessel of the class would probably has "Bung" before the name like Bung Hatta, Bung Tomo, etc. KRI Sukarno may be used for a larger vessel.
