Pointing out that there are around 100 technoparks in Turkey and more than 200 thousand jobs in the sector, Bağören made the following evaluations:

"Considering our young and talented human resources and the ever-increasing service demand, we expect our industry to grow above average in 2024. According to research, it is estimated that Turkey's software industry revenues will have an annual growth rate of around 10 percent between 2023 and 2028. "This rate is expected to be 5 percent in the world. Therefore, we think that the share of the sector in the global pie will gradually increase."

I made a quote from the news.

I remembered people saying that the software industry collapsed when 5000-10000 software developers from Turkey migrated to Europe and the USA. So, the young population working in software in Turkey does not migrate to Europe. The migration of 5 thousand people out of 200 thousand was not something that should be a problem. We have seen how irrelevant the people who distribute judgment to us are to this sector.
Turkiye is a funny country.West and even many of us said that Turkiye hasn't the freedom of press and speech. But we can always see the media pressing fake news and wrong opinion to look down ourselves.(for example,TOGG MADE IN ITALY)

Also,

I always said, let much more youth to go out and look the world is good for our country.

Less and less Japanese go out to the west for work and study in these 30 years leading the decline of Japan economy.

More and more youth go out to the world made Chinese ,S.Korean economy growing.

Bayraktar brothers also studyed in the west.

The size of the software & IT sectors in Turkey has reached 25 billion dollars. Don't listen to those who say that our software developers cannot organize and earn money. Smart people manage to become rich.

Turks are becoming the new Indians of IT outsourcing given how cheap it's becoming.

Infrastructure development will boost domestic labour productivity however in this sector

The problem is when they go out, they never come back. And thats Turkey's fault.

As a individual you are never bored in the West. In Turkey there is nothing to do.

I was 20 days in The Hague and Amsterdam and i couldnt find time to sleep. There a so much social choices and they are very normal and standard there (red light district, casino, theme parks, coffeeshops, bowling, cart race, football game, disco etc). And that in the winter season.

In Turkey as a young man you can go Youtubing at the street interviewing complaining pensionados in the winter and in summerseason you can do picknick in the park. The rest is forbidden.

The western small city is much more boring...especially in US or Germany...you even cant see any people for whole day.

Japan is a bit better.

And if a Turk clever man didnt want to come back, that s 80%because of salary and 15% because of political view....but not entertainment..

The salary is the biggest problem.

Politics will not be a problem in the future.

Software sourcing is no where near, but we are becoming the new customer care capital of the world, going for the previous Indian spot. Sad.

If they are illegal you can report to 170 and they will pay them a visit.
Police will come and detain ,expel somebody,

Next day other africans and arabs come.

Turkish law imposes too light penalties on employers, they just pay thousands lira fine.

In other countries they will fine millions and close the company.

That's a shame, software sourcing would bring in a lot of money while improving domestic talent

It's a waste of quality manpower. You know how people complain when we do fason and kaportacılık and not enough yerli ve milli, that's the software equivalent. But well If you can't provide jobs that produce high value added software and end user products...

We need to focus on creating products that leave the lion share of revenue with us

Türkiye greeted some 56.7 million visitors last year, with an annual surge of 10.33%, a senior official said Wednesday highlighting that the country's tourism revenue posted a substantial uptick reaching a record $54.3 billion (TL 1.64 trillion).

"The year 2023 was the year in which we broke records in data," Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said during a presentation on the figures in Istanbul's Atatürk Culture Center (AKM).

"The number of visitors reached 56.7 million in 2023," he said, adding that tourists from Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom spearheaded the arrivals drive last year.

Some 6.3 million visitors from Russia visited Türkiye last year, Ersoy said, followed by 6.2 million German tourists and 3.8 million Britons.

"England was among our prioritized target destinations during the pandemic. We improved regarding the U.K. market, where we had some 2.5 million before the pandemic, to 3.8 million afterward," he said.

The number of foreign tourists arriving at Türkiye between January and December last year meanwhile surged by 10.4% to 49.2 million, the Culture and Tourism Ministry data showed.

The figure exceeded its pre-pandemic period level of 45 million in 2019, the ministry data showed.
