Tell that to 3000 ISIS carcasses we curbstomped into the worthless dust of Al Bab.

I actually watched and followed the battle of Al-Bab. And I was impressed with how ISIS defended the city, just like I was impressed by basically every city Islamists defend be it Gaza, Khorramshahr, Fallujah, Mosul, Raqqa, Baiji, Ramadi, Sirte.

It hardened my perception that these people are tough, they are built to outlast everything. This "I will outlast all of you" mentality is needed for the long war in the Middle East, the end state which is the annihillation of the Zionist state.

They discredited their 'cause' with all the atrocities they commited. Radical Islamism is getting less and less popular. They have not made one single strategic gain. Their wives and children are interned by local American mercenaries (YPG/PKK). They are a spent force. If somehow all the foreigners leave and they make the mistake of getting out of their holes in the desert, we will kill them harder.

And the way they fight is no match for a proper army. Let's hear it from the from the book written by Hayreddin Barbarossa, 16th century Turkish Ottoman Grand Admiral:

"I heard that Abdullah came to Tlemsen (Algeria) and dominated the city. His brother Mes'ud hid in the castle for fear of it, and lasted for 25 days. Our soldiers saw that it would take longer, they did not have a large cannon useful for the siege of the castle, they consulted among themselves: "A fake one. Let's do a retreat", they said; they thought we left the castle and fled.

These Arabs are a very cheeky people. They don't know if we were victorious or defeated. They say, "The Turks have fled," come out of the castle and come at us with the greed of plunder. Then we will take them, take the castle, hand it over to Emir Abdullah, and return to Algeria. It happened the way they predicted! The Arabs who were supporters of Sultan Mes'ud in the castle, saying, "Hey, Turks are running away!", fell behind the levents (marines). The levents moved backwards and put most of them to the sword.

Because these Arabs are a people who do not know the art of war. They think that looting in the desert and fighting in an army are the same thing. Even the Spanish infidel, who knew the art of war, had always been defeated by the Turkish levents, but as soon as these Arab tribes happened, they would face the Turks and be devastated. Because for them, human life is quite worthless. Instead of knowing the true meaning of trust in god and taking precautions, they say "everything is from Allah" and die foolishly.

They ride well, though, and there are brave ones among them. But even the harnesses of their horses are quite primitive. They don't have good weapons. They can't use it though. They are not good with firearms. Then the biggest reason for defeat is that they never know the rules of mass fighting. My personal request from the sultan is that you do not have an Arab levent (marine) at our command!"

"The Arab notables after me would fall against each other, and the people would be devastated. In the end, they would invite me back to their country with much gratitude as the only solution. I was sure of this as I believed in it."

"I had 12000 soldiers, but half of them were Arab volunteers who did not know how to fight according to the rules of military service, and it was not surprising that they fled when they were in trouble, and even united with the enemy."

"As I predicted, the 6,000 Arab volunteers under my command betrayed in such a harmful way that it was necessary to retreat to the south as soon as possible. These so-called volunteers opened the city's prisons and took 10000 Christian prisoners while I was in front of the walls with 6000 Turkish Levends, in order to befriend King Carlos. They released them. There were people among them who loved the Turks and were religious enough not to commit such a baseness. But they were deceived by their so-called ruler Mevlay Hasan. Mevlay Hasan's spies are clouding the air in the city of Tunisia. They were spreading word of mouth that they had come to Egypt, that their ruler was allied with Carlos King, and they said that if they took the Spaniards to the city, not a single Muslim would bleed. It seemed impossible to fight the infidels. Just then, the castle of Halkulvad fell."

"My brother wore the belt of fasting and mercy with all his hands. He did not lift his head from prostration until the morning. He wished for nusrat and victory from the Almighty. At sunrise in the morning, he gathered his levents. He had many soldiers from Arabs, Berbers and Andalusians. However, they did not know war like Turkish levents, and when they got stuck, they would turn away from the enemy."

1. Atrocities are normal in war
2. Hardly my problems if these atrocities are directed to people other than me
3. On the contrary, nation states and secularism is on the retreat everywhere in the Middle East. A new generation of Islamist will replace them. Do you know that Iraq and Syria only existed on paper ? And that Islamists could move in this country vice versa and the central govt in both Baghdad and Damascus can't do shiettt. ?

They have not made one single strategic gain. Their wives and children are interned by local American mercenaries (YPG/PKK). They are a spent force. If somehow all the foreigners leave and they make the mistake of getting out of their holes in the desert, we will kill them harder.

I hardly see ISIS wives and children getting interned as my problem. The way I see it is they have contributed to the downfall and popularity of
  1. Nation states
  2. National armies
The two main problem for Muslims In the Middle Eastern region. ISIS core caliphate might have been destroyed, but their legacy is not. Just like how ISIS troops once could move from Syria to Iraq without checkpoints. Now other than ISIS themselves, Iranian led-Islamists groups could travel from Iraq to Syria and then to Lebanon unimpended. From where do you think are those Hezbollah missile transferred from, which route ?

This will not be possible without ISIS in the first place.

The shortsightedness of the common people would've not understand the strategic success of this, not for ISIS, but for the return of Islam as a political and military power in the Middle East after almost 100 years of it getting replaced by Secularism in the Middle East.

Hey man, I've seen how 'proper armies" in the Middle East fought and am not impressed.

Look, I'm well read and in the Middle East, it's always a three way battle between Turks, Persians and Arabs...belitling each other on the internet.

If the Arabs are that bad ? why does it take you 3 months to take Al-Bab when your foe captured Mosul in six days ?

Al Bab took longer because we tried to use local militias as infantry at first for political reasons. And ISIS tried to defend it like it's their mom's honor.

But as with their moms' honor, we took it anyways. 3000 carcasses.

You can put cosmetics on everything. For you this is a battle between your country and another one.

For me, looking at events from thousands of miles away, I simply don't have any bias whatsoever. it is clear to me who has the upper hand.

And then Hamas comes with the 7th October attack, and again I couldn't stress it enough. These Islamists groups, they're different. They are not only competent, they have the most important ingredients : Faith and perseverance.

So when someone mentioned that Israel is in a difficult position because such men exists

A motivated, large group of men willing to risk death could, using blitzkrieg tactics, spread throughout Israel very quickly and bring the country to the brink of collapse. If Israel reaches the brink of collapse, it will definitely collapse

It reminded me of my past posts And this is why war must continue at all cost. Because the longer the war is, the more powerful Islamists is and the more Secularism recede. Islam has something that motivates its men to move forward even though their enemies constantly taunted the use of nuclear warfare LOL.
