The Lebanese ought to invest in some quality air defense. It would be much more difficult for Israel to bomb them from the air with impunity.
Israel's air defense isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it has proven to be effective!

Some pretty interesting leaked Hezbollah-aligned/affiliated conversations from Telegram doing the rounds, too. Not sure who's interviewing them, don't speak/read Arabic ( credit to dude here for rustling it up and doing the translation https://www.defencetalk.com/military/forums/t/middle-east-defence-security.13210/page-41 ), but it gives some insight into their state-of-mind amongst themselves, pretty counter to their publically-facing tone. Sounds like they know they're totally boned.

You'd have to be more careful about waiting, *if* there's any veracity to the test. All indicators are they don't have a viable weapon as of now. Not sure I buy the "they tested something" view, but if that's confirmed, now would be your best-and-last "go time" moment before they can actually use one. Once they're North Korea it's too late.

There's an unspecified timeframe between a first nuclear test and first viable nuclear weapon. If Israel and US wants to strike and stave off Iran's nuclear weapons program for few more years, that timeframe is when to strike. But, in that case Iran will no longer play "i can develop nukes whenever i want" and will just dig a deeper tunnel and create it as soon as possible. Hitting every Iranian nuclear site(very big task even for world's premier air force) is also not enough, as that will just create more animosity as stated. Only way forward is regime change, which will happen with a civil war or invasion, which will create millions of refugees, which will see NATO and EU being fractured as a result.
US' hand to play Israel's game or not.
Iran's nuclear program is rapidly approaching its end. Iran has two options: either it will come to an agreement with the West and end its nuclear program, or it will try to become a nuclear power. The reason for everything Israel has been doing lately is to make a possible nuclear deal impossible and to start a regional war in the Middle East. A nuclear-powered Iran will upset all balances in difficult times.
