Apparently, MKE changed the shape of their USV.

Now, I'm guessing the satcom is that bulb in the back, put I have no idea what those things sticking out are for. Or these extra sensors under the gimbal.

I saw this in X

Kraken Robotics has successfully demonstrated its KATFISH towed synthetic aperture sonar and autonomous launch and recovery system (LARS) from SEFINE’s RD-22 unmanned surface vessel (USV) in coordination with SEFINE SISAM.
I wonder they are just testing it for foreign market or intended for Turkiye?

CELLAT will silence threats in the Blue Homeland:
• CELLAT, a kamikaze unmanned naval vehicle produced by the Turkish defense industry, was showcased for the first time at SAHA 2026.
• CELLAT KIDA, which can reach a speed of approximately 50 knots and has a range of 450 nautical miles(830 km), can carry a 500 kilogram payload.
• CELLAT, whose testing process is ongoing, is targeted to be ready for duty within 2 months.

The DATUM unmanned submarine is capable of launching loitering munitions, laying naval mines, and firing 2x Atmaca anti-ship missiles. It features autonomous navigation, swarm attack, and a low acoustic signature.

STM announced TENGİZ, an unmanned submarine capable of launching torpedoes.

TENGİZ, which can remain underwater at a depth of 400 meters for more than 20 days, also has the capability of laying mines at sea.
I wonder whether it could carry Akya or Orka, because if this can carry Akya, it would be a proper strategic asset, especially in the Aegean.

Are these pictures new?

🛡️🇹🇷DATUM Introduces Its Mini Submarine

🔸Defense industry company Datum Submarine Technologies, based at Istanbul Technical University, introduced its domestically developed and produced mini submarine, which was designed and built with the support of the Presidency of Defense Industries.
🔸The submarine, whose assembly was completed at Sefine Shipyard, conducted its first dive tests on April 14, 2026.

Manned mini submarine!!! Up up up!

Unmanned mini submarines can't be effective as much as manned.

Let's dream, Tranche with SUNGURs suddenly appeared next to the airbases of hostile country.

Or Tranche with 122 MRLS !!!
Wolf pack of Tranches , one sub with SAMs, the other sub with TRG-122s. Unexpected surprise😇💪😁

Turkey to buy 100 one-way explosive naval drones for swarm attacks

Turkey is moving to buy 100 expendable unmanned surface vessels for its navy, Defense News learned during the SAHA Expo 2026 defense exhibition this month.

The decision to procure the systems was made during the February meeting of the Defense Industry Executive Committee, the highest decision-making body in Turkey’s defense procurement and industrial policy.

The Secretariat of Defense Industries (SSB) is overseeing the procurement project. The 100 expendable unmanned surface systems will be produced by three different companies.

One of the three providers is Aselsan, which has teamed up with Ares Shipyard. They unveiled their joint product, Tufan, during SAHA Expo 2026 in Istanbul.

The second provider is STM, which is cooperating with Yonca Shipyard. Their expendable USV, Yaktu, was also unveiled during the trade show.

The third producer is Havelsan, which is working with Sefine Shipyard.

The 100 units are divided as 40 for Aselsan, 32 for STM, and 32 for Havelsan, meaning the overall authorized amount will need to be adjusted slightly to accommodate an operational doctrine that envisions four-drone swarms.

Aselsan’s Tufan unmanned surface vehicle is designed to conduct strike missions against maritime and coastal targets. The vessel is 8 meters long and 1.8 meters wide and carries a high-explosive payload equivalent to one Mk 82 bomb.

STM’s Yaktu USV was developed to meet asymmetric maritime operational requirements, ranging from port protection to open-sea strike missions. It has an overall length of 5.8 meters and a displacement of 1.7 tons.

Both Tufan and Yaktu are configured as expendable, precision-strike unmanned surface platforms designed for engagements against surface targets. They feature compact, low-profile hulls to reduce radar and visual detectability. Both systems support line-of-sight (LOS) and satellite communications, enabling integration into network-centric operations.

Their swarm architecture allows multiple units to operate cooperatively, share data in real time, and autonomously allocate tasks during missions.

🛥️ BLUEVISION, which was integrated into the SANCAR Armed Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) for the first time:

💢 Operates in full integration with the ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS) and facilitates integration with its modular structure.

💢 Classifies and geolocates small surface elements that cannot be detected by radar using camera data.

💢 Provides 24/7 detection of surface objects and estimates their geographic coordinates using daylight and thermal cameras.

💢 Creates a reliable maritime picture by combining AIS (Automatic Identification System) data with visual verification.

💢 Provides support for covert navigation without the use of radar, as well as visual verification in scenarios involving AIS spoofing.

💢 Offers intelligent decision support capabilities against collision risks, unidentified maritime elements (dark vessels), AIS spoofing, and asymmetric threats.

💢 Overlays digital data onto live video streams, providing operators with real-time information flow.

💢 Features a daylight and thermal camera, an artificial intelligence processing unit, and a touch-screen display panel.

Anti-Drone Warfare at Sea: Matching Sensors and Effectors to the Threat

Effective Anti-Drone Warfare demands a complete kill chain – detection, identification, tracking, and hard-kill engagement – with every link matched to the physics and economics of the Tier 2 OWA drone threat. This article examines the technology choices for each link: why only AESA radar meets the detection requirement, what the electro-optic director must deliver, and how the principal effector classes compare against the demands of the ADW mission.

Thats why need ships with better integration of usv like a mother ship or direct integration in to destroyers and frigates but lower capacity

By integration do you mean physical integration, like docking etc? Because Advent already provides all the necessary software integration that is why SSB is making it's integration necessary for all USV's

I mean physical integration. There were some discussions about a new frigate/destroyer class to follow after the four TF2000 and i think these ships could be designed in a way that improves the integration of unmanned systems. For instance a lot of western ships have a modular bay for container sized modules that don't really proved effective and i think that you could instead put like 4 - 6 usv and 2-4 uuv instead with different mission sets also unmanned helicopters. This ship could also be the size of TF2000 or a bit larger to hold these system since overall steel cost are little. Like a little LHD/frigate with firepower between i class and TF2000. While at it also add more counter drone systems lasers, Gun system and small rocket systems (cirit, sungur, eren). These ships would be real multi purpose.
