Regardless of how fancy and big Morocco's GDP is, it doesnt change the fact that Morocco's GDP per capita is around 3600$ which is classified as low among middle-income countries and with low purchasing power. If you couple that with the fancy GDP you just mentioned, it means that there is a significant income inequality in your country and this means embezzelment and corruption

A strong economic growth without income equality is useless as I have said in the previous segment. Moreover, a strong 4.9% economic growth rate with unemployment rates, for youth, hovering at 29% is catastrophic especially considering the fact that many Moroccan youths immigrate every year. And I would really want people to understand that hosting the world cup isnt a sign of economic strength or prosperity but a sign that your government and king has money that they would rather spend on their international image rather than on the moroccan citizens themselves which is, again, a sign of corruption and incompetency
Your claim that Morocco was “pissed off” because Algeria refused to transport more gas is frankly amusing. Algeria’s decision was a strategic mistake that cost them the Maghreb-Europe Gas Pipeline and an estimated 1–5 billion USD annually in lost gas exports to Europe. Morocco simply flipped the situation: the same pipeline is now used in reverse to import gas from Spain into Morocco.

Here are the cruel facts: Rn, there is a new pipeline that directly connecting Algeria and Spain, by bypassing Morocco completely. Such a pipeline will obviously have gas sold at potentially lower prices than the one passing through Morocco, as there will be no transit fees to be paid to the Morrocan government and this is proven through the fact that Algerian gas sales to Europe are at its highest levels ever.
Finally, why are you proud that the pipeline used to provide algerian gas to spain, through Morocco, has been reversed and is instead used to provide gas to Morocco through Spain?
Do you know what that means? It means that morocco now pays more premiums to get the same volume of gas (from Spain since it became the transit point) which it used to obtain cheaply back when the pipeline passing through Morocco was operational
It means that not only did Algeria cut a source of cheap gas and massive source of revenue, estimated at billions annually, to the Moroccan government but also you are paying more money to get that same gas volume through Spain. To put it in other words, Morocca was outplayed by both Algeria and Spain
As for the Moroccan Sahara, the file is closed. Do not waste your time on it. All five permanent members of the UN Security Council have effectively accepted our position: the United Kingdom, France, and the United States explicitly recognize Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara, while Russia and China consistently abstain on related UN resolutions. Please do not speak on subjects you clearly know little about.
