Just look at the cannon, the truck and the sensors on it block its view completely

That is what I didn't understand from the beginning. Why the placement of gun buried that way, and why they dont the raise the position of the gun above the sensors. It shouldnt be that hard, just look at Pantsir

We should remember that Pantsir is a shit ass weapons platform and Gürz was built as a better Pantsir in every way imaginable, literally from a captured Pantsir. First ever released Gürz image was basically a Pantsir with 35mm gun.

I know that, but that does not mean their gun placement looks worse than us. There is no point to bury the gun and reduce effectiveness against low flying uavs like lets say 10 or 20 percent. I am not an expert but it is a common sense, the gun should be raised above the sensor.

However, if the benefit of this current placement outweighs the costs, i really like to know these benefits

Wonder how much it cost with all the sensors etc.
Pantsir which is equal to wheeled Korkut costs app 20million USD.
Most of costs are radar and missiles.

İf the deal is finished, What a pitty for KSA as well as for Türkiye.

We could have supplied Korkut.

Akbaba claimed few months ago that Saudi ordered and even took delivery of Korkut.

If we put this anywhere close to front line it would be blown to pieces before the end of its first week, by a drone.

Just look at the cannon, the truck and the sensors on it block its view completely. It is ridiculously susceptible to anything flying low, hell, not even that low! If it can fire on the move, I can see it as a good option to accompany armoured columns, or defending backline command posts but that's it.
This is a easily relocatable point defense system, it's not designed to move around when fighting like Korkut or Hisar-A. Gürz will be mainly for installation defence. Think bases on the periphery, Syria, Somalia, Libya.

Sanchez is right.
