Let us get our facts straight!
This document is a “project development“ document issued by SSB. Turkish SSB, does not open tenders. It is the Ministery of Defence that opens tenders. Because they are the BUYERS.
SSB starts projects with companies, be it state owned or private. It is the job of Ministery of defence to open a tender for a finished project for various companies to forward their quotes.
First Altay development PROJECT was given to Otokar, by, then the equivalent of today’s SSB. They produced the first prototypes. But for the order stage a tender was opened to produce the tank by the MoD. And this tender was won by BMC with a price of 3.5 billion Euros.
So my question still stands. Do you have a source that first 3.5 billion Euro quote Ethem Sancak gave included all the work stated in above ”project” document?
I think the interview with ethem sancak has been shared a few times especially because of the tank pallet factory part in the interview.

People should just watch it and a follow up on the first interview was also delivered like 1-1.5 years later

Some firtina was produced in TPF, but it’s not a tank so Akat isn’t wrong.

“We may not be able to write everything clearly. But since the pilot production is started with the MTU engine and after 4 tanks it cannot be switched to another engine, anyone with an intelligence level above 80 can more or less guess what the engine is under development in BMC Engine ...”

MTU is owned by Rolls Royce. But is in Germany. Since production site is in Germany and MTU is a German company (owned by Rolls Royce) , German laws take precedence. If German Government says NO to a sale , they have to abide by it.
Rolls Royce is a British owned International Conglomerate. They have investments and production facilities all over the world , some of them in JV form. But they have to abide by the rules and law of the country in which they produce.

What if british army buy a engine and subsystem first for own army after that they sell him to us. Like Usa Fms
Good question!
1. Germans may decide British are circumventing their decision to embargo Turkey. And take legal action against British Army.
2. If British Army asks say a local company to alter and change the engine so that it becomes made in UK. Then there will be no problem. (This is like Turkey buying white Chinese T-Shirts. Printing a design in front, packaging it and labelling it “made in Turkey” . Then selling it to EU) . But to do this significant work has to be done to the engines.
3. the engine could be very expensive!
4. How are we to get British Army to do this “fiddly” trade deal??

Or in the contract it states that the buyer can only use them for their own needs and forbid it to sell it to an other party without permission of the original seller. Just standard military contracts rules I guess.

How is that going to help? Germans are embargoing all military equipment being sold to Turkey if it can be used in Northern Syria. They are not selling it to Turkey . That is the problem.

Honestly even if the engine and transmission comes from a foreign source.

Turkish defence industry should still work on a domestic engine and a domestic transmission.

Lets not let our guard down especially with backstabbers.
