Best sources for daily info?

I'm trying to compile a list of sources that have up to date info on military activity. The goal behind this being using open sources rather than gathering my own intelligence. Any suggestions?

Sources from china?

Not exclusively, but about China's military activities. I'm an independent contractor working in OSINT with the assignment of gathering intel on weapons testing, deployment, movements, etc etc. Nothing classified, of course. I have built a system that goes out and finds me feeds that work but I think there is a treasure trove here with the users that are experienced on this platform. So I figured I'd reach out and see what happens.

I think he is a good source when it comes to China's military development but I don't think that he is covering Chinese military activities in terms of events like the standoff in South China Sea or Ladakh for example. I think our brothers @Indos and @Nilgiri could give us some good suggestions.

I mostly gather info a bit more specifically, a couple forums (unfortunately its all in chinese etc) and also a few contacts in the know.

I go with independent with think tanks like Rand, claws, strategy page, war on the rock, sapt, and CIA annual reports to congress. I have a list of bookmarks of various sources but on specific topics mostly orbats.

They seem to be more reliable in understanding the overall bigger picture than day to day news snippets.

Oh i also get the military balance annual assessment by IISS.

I could provide you more sources if you ask on a specific topic.
