Communist regime works fine in China, way better than Indian regime.
To be honest i would agree on this partially, not in comparison to Indian government but rather compared to many other countries actually Communist regime works finer democratic regimes for the public management and people get governmental services smoothly (so far i have seen in cities, but i know a friend's family got services in a rural area as well).

Should tell this: it is valid as long as you don't talk about politicians, questioning them, questioning policies of the government.

Nobody talks about politics, politicians, the political party or the policies and everyone actually refrains from talking about that and scared to say anything against the policies. They either support whatever is going on, or just goes silent doesn't speak a word against what is done.
Because people may go "missing".

People do talk about politics in China and we don't "go missing" , Chinese do protest sometime and refuse to move if they believe that government doesn't pay them enough.
China has many famous household celebrities who got their fame by ridiculing the Chinese government on the Chinese social media, making jokes about the government and corruption is argubly the most popular pastime in China.

Google "Chinese corruption jokes" and have a good laugh.

Actually Chinese civil servants are more civilised than their western counterparts, In China the police have to talk to the people nicely , politely and show respect, if the police use strong language they will be suspended, while in US police can shoot people and be scot free.

Oh yes that is why non of my Chinese colleagues didn't even speak a single word about politics even-though when they were abroad. And even if we needed to talk about some policies they were really concerned not to and changed the topic?

Controlled opposition is a thing though, in which social media they are doing this? state controlled weibou?
Oh wait, i forgot about The Great Wall of the internet, people actually can't access to other social medias.

we don't "go missing"

maybe i shouldn't have been soft and use the "missing" to describe it but rather "forced disappearance"

I live in China and I know how people here ridicule the government, In China you can criticize the government if you do have proof and grievances, but not baseless slandering and smearings, some scandals happened in China and they were wildly condemned and discussed all across the Chinese social media, and the public opinons do prompt the government to work quickly to fix issues.

Elon Musk on why China is ‘better’ than US,Chinese government more responsive to the people than US

In a wide-ranging interview with Business Insider, Tesla CEO Elon Musk spoke on a lot of issues. One was Tesla’s growing association with China. Musk was asked about the role of China’s standing in the world of technology and if the “ethical limitations” and certain regulations bothered him. To this, Musk replied, “My experience with the government of China is that they actually are very responsive to the people, in fact, possibly more responsive to the happiness of people than in the US.”

The Tesla CEO also said that whenever he has met with Chinese government officials they’ve always been concerned about people’s happiness. “Are people going to be happy about a thing? Is this going to actually serve the benefit of the people?,” said Musk about how the Chinese officials have come across to him.

Musk also delved into the geopolitical situation in China and said that it was somewhat “ironic, but even though you have sort of a single-party system, they really actually seem to care a lot about the well-being of the people.” He further said that contrary to public perception the Chinese are sensitive. “In fact, they're maybe even more sensitive to public opinion than what I see in the US,” he said.

In the past as well Musk has spoken glowingly about China. In an earlier interview with a podcast, Musk was asked about what China and its electric vehicles strategy. Musk replied, “China rocks in my opinion. The energy in China is great. People there – there’s like a lot of smart, hard-working people.”

Musk had quite an impressive 2020 and ended up as the second richest man in the world. With Tesla’s market value growing rapidly, Musk’s estimated wealth has grown directly in proportion.

Didn't India also ban Tik Tok and numerous other Chinese social media apps? We never allow major social media platform being in enemy hands, it's like handing a gun to the enemy and wait for them to shoot you. We all know how western media hates and smears China.

We did it because of what you were doing on the LAC. But you banned such apps long back for no reason.
Western media has been targetting China for a long time, nothing happens for no reason, and they refuse to follow Chinese rules and regulation about net service in China, as for India, you guys take it to a new high level by cutting the whole internet service in some regions all together.

Internet services are restricted in places of India where insurgencies are going on, people use internet to plan violence and attacks.

Western media has been tergetting India more as they still believe Indians are poor, they all live in villages and slums, they don’t have hospitals and schools and other colonial feel good crap, so?

At least China doesn't do it to that level of restriction

I live in China and I know how people here ridicule the government
I had friends who works in the government/universities but they couldn't speak a work, ironic isn't it? At one side i have people whom i call friends who clearly declares their concern on talking about politics, against the policies of the party and government, and at another side i have you, whom i can see what kind of posts you are sharing which never ridicules or questions any policies but showing China as if it is utopia, perfect country, heaven.

Maybe you should sprinkle some negative posts about China so that your other posts won't look absurd. ;)

In China you can criticize the government if you do have proof and grievances
Proof, let me think:
I think there were sufficient proof at least for covid but China preferred to conceal it in the beginning and moreover some people has been disappeared by force when they have blowed the whistle of the facts. I think this disproves your stand.

You don't have to believe in any individuals, neither me or your friend, post a question online and seek answers from people in China. The truth is very often in between what you believe due to years of western anti China propoganda and what the Chinese government tries to tell you.

I call them "friends" not a "stranger" like you, so i obviously know whom to trust.
As you can already see, unlike you who posts everything positive about China, i am posting or writing things both negative and positively as naturally it should be.
Even the last phrase is a proof of who stands on where.
Really this is my suggestion post something negative so you will look more natural.

You do get a point really, but here we have enough people posting all negative news about China pretty regularly, so I don't think there is a need for me to do the same, I just like to give people a chance to have a glance to see things from the Chinese point of view, which is in very short supply on English language sites and forums.

Which means your posts are not reflecting your own opinions but controlled by a source to post "good things" about China?
