Bayraktar is more active on social media am I right compared to TAI?
Bayraktar is the front runner in its area and its work is more exciting.
And they share their work accordingly creating excitement among people.
It feels good talking about ambitious stuff so they love talking about it.
Also Baykar is a smaller company and they only have one focus at a time.

Wait until someone comes up with news.
İsmail Demir said something but no visuals.
Interestingly, this mk82 winged guidance kit gets new naming designation - KGK-SİHA-82

Aksungur is slow flying, so KGK gains speed a bit and then open its wings to lower drag
At the end of the video when KGK is a dot and you enlarge the picture you can see the wings opening. This corresponds with your explanation. Thanks!
They really need to put those PD222 engines on these birds. Aksungur can only carry 150kg payload at 35000ft with these PD170 engines.

Why don’t the wings open after release ? OK there should be a delay. But surely, not this much!
It could also be slow motion footage + wide angle lens effect. Maybe instead of 11 seconds it’s only 5 seconds fall.

Serial production is probably waiting PD222, but If I am not mistaken that engine would have same continuous power like PD180 but it will give 222hp take off power which is crucial when the plane takes off with load. Are you sure about 150kg? Haven't they announced that it is 750kg in 25000 ft, 150 kg is for 24 hour mission, so would be higher with less time on the air.

Yes. Less time in air. So it is a compromise.
More altitude less time.
More weight less time.
Three variables: Altitude, Weight, Flight-Time
If you increase one you decrease the others.
To overcome this dilemma you need more power!
More altitude also means more range for the KGK ammo. So more power is what this bird needs!

The next available (soon to be) engine to the existing PD170 is the PD222.
Going beyond it will require a different airframe, which is Akıncı.

Correct! But I wouldn‘t rule out 2 x 450HP turboprop powering Aksungur in the future! But PD222 should fit the bill.
The way our commanders are going forward with our UAV fleet makes me think that; Akinci with more powerful engines (2 x 750HP) and extensive sensors (Aesa radar etc) will probably be a more strategically used UAV for special high altitude missions in HALE format. Aksungur and to a certain extent, AnkaS , will be the work horse for Airforce and Navy in MALE format. TB2 and TB3 will be the expendable killer drones of the forces which the TB2 seems to excel in.

We are going to have a good selection of UAV capabilities for payload and speed. Therefore there is not much need to push the limits of the capabilities of certain platforms. Aksungur with its wide wingspan is made for endurance and pushing it to go faster will bring little returns as its structure will have a lot of drag for a given amount of additional power. Where the gains really diminish is up to the designers. Of course the export market requirements will vary and products targeting export market may have slightly different specs (maybe more ambitious then for the domestic market as the customer may not have a good selection like we do).

Aksungur with its long endurance can do a good job in Indonesia and the Philippines where it has to comb large swaths of blue homeland.

Mr Kotil: In addition to Göksungur, We are working on different drones but we will show them when they start flying.
