Is that can be called major?
I don't think you need a long discussion with OEM for something like that.
Would you mind to little explain to me, what is OEM in defence sector stands for?

Is it the same place to build an "alutsista"?

This looks to be the best way to avoid the 2nd batch payment 🤭

Naval group will be allowed to "inspect" Type 209?
This guy should be a little more rational about the IP rights of the platforms. It will be TKMS at best, or a member of the IACS if it is up to an inspection.
Moreover, the subs are within warranty term, usually one or two year after the acceptance and Indonesian Navy is sufficiently experienced to inspect a submarine on their own.
or terminate the contract wholly.
Which will definitely "benefit Indonesia a lot" according to the western lover experts.

Not gonna happened, the best thing they can audit is the supposed production facilities and some log book and some notes not the whole internal of the said Submarine. It is breach of security OPSEC, not even the Navy and the one in MoD gonna let foreigner doing a whole audit on their most complex weapon system even as crappy as it is.

South Korea operates the sub with similar electronics and equipments, none has sunk so far or undergone a major incident or failure, how "crappy" could it be?
If there were some serious incidents, which is prone to happen in such complex systems, it is under warranty for the first or two years.
The hull machinery has gone through classification society's inspections, electronics as well. Lastly inspected by Indonesian Navy,i don't give any chances it is bad as it is advertised.
It is not too hard to see the campaign going on. Especially seeing the Alman uses "unlicensed copy" words, while it is a licensed one.

Idn CBG based on Type 209 with user costumizations.

All i've heard there's so much edge being cut, even experienced officer complain about the sub.

Italy and Egypt version only using 16 Cells,
Italy showcased the larger 32 cells variant in fairs.
I don't think indonesia would buy 16 cells with such a large platform, considering there isn't a proper AAW asset at the moment, won't be anytime soon.
Italy was cool with 16 Cells because they have got other platforms with more VLS and used Bergamini as "General purpose frigate"

I hope it is the improved variant for Indonesia, 1x 127mm, 2x single fast forty , 1x 76 Strales is a good punch for general purposes (aka, countering swarm militias or USVs of God knows who)
