Maybe it is time we went British, with the British working on a long range fighter with Japan and others. I wonder what their price would be. I imagine quite dear, but maybe a lot cheaper than the B21.
With AUKUS still over ten years away until we see any subs, I believe it is time to look elsewhere for some convential subs. Maybe we should return to Kockums. Their sub that is over 4000 tons, lokks like it was designed with the RAN in mind, which it probably was.

Would it be a smart move for Australia to buy a dozen of these B21's just to keep the region on their toes? If neccessary buy one less sub to pay
for them?

I have read where defence experts still expect the RAAF to be expanded. What additional aircraft should we acquire? And should we join in on the Tempest group? Should we get additional F18's, probably the E version. There is much to consider. Or do we just wait on the Defence Review?
