F35 sensors collect so much data, I'd be careful flying them anywhere within our borders. They could use a specific non critical base location of their own and have their dedicated flight paths for not collecting data about rest of our systems honestly. That's one of the issues with that...
Why decoy drones? Can we make A2A jet drones that just chase and collide like a modified süper Şimşek? Maybe a final stage booster against faster aircraft. Better than pure decoy
Kind of pointless, F18 has a good radar, but it can also carry very long range missiles. The uav needs to have its own radar and be able to engage itself, this is the only way to really extend the engagement distance for the F18, otherwise you are limited by the F18 radar like before and drone...
Seeker is more important here, at such long ranges you need a large aesa seeker and that is likely to take longer, don't know if there is commonality for ongoing seeker development for Gökhan
Our need for ships is critical but sale of these are more strategic then our need for such light ships honestly, vs istif. I get people who criticize attempted sale of istif and agree, but disagree with criticism of hisar sale
Few corrections. That pesa radar is also multi transmit receive so it's a relatively modern pesa. The two x bands are there to close that gap literally. The modernization adds extra atmaca launchers 12 or 16 total. Essm block 2 have been delivered quietly recently.
There is likely no such immediate kill switch but it's also not necessary to install one because if you are cut off from global network and logistics of it the thing will only fly for a few months
Gripen is also cheap enough that say they can buy and produce a few and having a number of them won't put a financiak strain when they eventually decide to buy F35 and make up with america
