Wet dream but might be possible, they charged 10 billion for 4 ssk + 1 ssn assitance with brazillian made reactor.I am hoping they offer us similar deal like they give to the Brazilians, having total 6-8 diesel sub with 2 nuclear sub sound great though, just my wet dream

Well we are still lacking warships and also diesel sub.
Most of our ship is oldies.
If we have 10 billion to spend, I prefer to get more corvette and frigate sized warship, also diesel submarine.

With the wars in Ukraine and Gaza straining U.S. arsenals, Washington is seeking to expand production with global partners like Australia.
This rockets would be made in Mulwala and/or Benalla, places where ADF ammunitions came from. Sitting on1 government owned land, this facilities operates by Thales Australia, kind of like US’s GOCO (Government-Owned, Company/Contractor-Operated) facilities, for example AF Plant 4 for F-35 and Skunk Works’s Plant 42.
Australian Government approach or push for these LM expansion are “crawl, walk, run”. First, the LM produce something less complicated, for this case 155mm. Second, assembling GMLRS. Third, making GMLRS with local contents.
