Unfortunately a lot of times when you argue with people, esp. on the internet, there's no way to show and prove that you're right and they're wrong and those who are wrong can go on thinking they're right. I argued a lot with this Z Kuşağı over their delusions about Zafer. They not only thought I'm pitifully wrong, now that they've been proven wrong they have no critical faculties to analyze why they were wrong. Because of the lack of those critical faculties, there's also no hope of them ever finding it out.

It seems that we should buckle up for early presidential elections next year it seems😅😅
Why the government need to do that? They still in majority in the parliament.

In japan the government support rate is only 15-25% but the pm still in owner.

AKP will use this 5 year term to wait the recovery of economy.

I don’t think they will take the risk of early elections.

Wait for the recovery? Whattttt? They are the soul reason for the current crisis. You expect them to fix it when they had so many opportunities to do so? It’s bit of stretch and naivety to think they will have a solution. Just saying

The main reason for the results are AKPs economical incompetence. Turkish citizens are facing a financial atrocity and are showing that they are fed up. I’m not generally surprised by the results except for Hatay. I can’t comprehend the people of hatay and it’s mind boggling.

CHP listed Lutfu Savas as their candidate. He is as responsible as the AKP for what happened to Hatay during earthquake. It is a good thing that he is losing.

I’ll give you that. At least CHP is saving them selves for Lutfu Savas but still I think the bulk of the responsibility goes to AKP

I just said all the world is recovering from Covid times.

If AKP chooses reelection they will lose. If not they still have 4 years

Look at the 2023 elections were Ata Ittifaki got ~5,2% (2.8 million) votes.

I see. I don’t think there will be an early election. AKP still has the majority. If anything they will try to change the constitution unfortunately

Lutfu Savas was mayor of Hatay for 10 years and Antakya for 5 years. He shares the responsibility with AKP regarding Hatay. The city is leveled.

Also he didn't even showed remorse and took responsibility after earthquake and when CHP try to change him, he threatened to run independent. CHP should have ditched him and even if they lose Hatay, they should have lost like that.

I'm aware of that; My arguments were mostly about CHP votes and how much they will be subject to change due to what they call collaboration with terrorism. I argue that twitter and gaming websites represent at most about 15% of the population and the isolated less socially active part of the population at that. I argued that most people will vote strategically (as I said on this website also) and that ZP and IYIP votes will be very low, along with DEM; and that a lot of people don't really follow politics through social media pages that copy/paste each other's one-line headlines. For those who do follow politics through those mediums, it may look like ZP will win 40% of the vote and CHP will be pummeled. I tried to remind them of delusory nature of this, but they are not open to dialogue. Very dogmatic generation. Horrible at reading and listening comprehension. They just hear and understand what they've already decided to.

The news about Erdogan's defeat is spreading worldwide
Many accounts in twitter from Europe, USA, Israel, UAE, KSA, Egypt, Kurdish backed areas and even India are mocking Erdogan rn and symbolising that it is the beginning of a new era of secularism and democracy and an end to dictatorship and Islamism and how turks are finally waking up and are trying to break the chains of oppression. Moreover, such news will probably act as a rallying cause against any expected Turkish operation in either Syria or Iraq

The current defeat may be the final straw that truly broke the AKP's back and Erdo's legacy is probably gone
