The Russian heavy drone "Berdysh" will be mass-produced. The drone "Berdysh" was developed by the Ural company "Uraldronzavod", which produces FPV drones "Upyr", the drone was created according to the principle: maximum efficiency at minimum cost. We can say that the drone "Berdysh" is an analogue of the so-called drones of the "Baba Yaga" type, these are heavy drones for agricultural purposes used for military purposes. "The Berdysh drone is a modular drone, depending on the tasks, it can be equipped with an updated RPO "Shmel-M", RPG-30 and other combat load. The drone can be used for reconnaissance, cargo delivery or as a communication repeater for FPV drones "Upyr". The price of the drone could not be found, but it is reported that the drone turned out to be cheaper than Chinese agricultural drones. The carrying capacity of the drone "Berdysh" up to 20 kg, flight range up to 25 km.

At the IDEX 2025 defense exhibition in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the Kalashnikov concern presented a new Russian drone, the Kub-2-E. The loitering munition, the Kub-2-E, was developed by the Izhevsk Unmanned Systems company. Since January 2025, the Kub-2-E drone has already been used by Russian troops. There are two versions of the drone. The Kub-2-1E drone is designed to destroy manpower and unarmored vehicles. The Kub-2-2E drone can destroy UAV launch sites and lightly armored vehicles. The drone is made according to the "simple but functional" principle - it can be produced in large quantities. There is no technical information on the drone, it is known that it weighs more than 10 kg.

An episode of testing a Russian drone equipped with a strike core, the model of the ammunition is not reported. Usually, ammunition with a strike core is used in cluster bombs, mines and MLRS. A munition with a strike core is ideal for destroying equipment from above. For example, tanks with Tsar-Barbecue protection, they have protection, but they have thin armor on top. Let's explain briefly, in simple terms. When a munition with a strike core explodes, a large metal form is formed, resembling a pestle. When cumulative munitions explode, a thin cumulative jet is formed. Ammunition with a strike core can destroy equipment at a distance, they penetrate the dynamic protection of tanks and other protection. The disadvantage of munitions with a strike core is low armor penetration.

Footage of the launch of the Russian drone "Lancet-52", officially called "Product 52". The launch is carried out by servicemen of the "Vostok" group of forces. The "Lancet" drone is the most effective drone of the Russian army, due to its flight range, invulnerability to electronic warfare systems and other characteristics. The drone is planned for export, and other countries have already begun to copy it.

Footage of the production of Russian FPV drones "Alyosha". Currently, up to 2,400 drones are produced per month, by the end of the year it is planned to increase this figure to 18 thousand units per month. The drone has been used by the Russian army for six months. The drones are produced as part of the Alaska Project in the Rostov Region, and Russian engines and other components are already used. The drone's feature is a modular design, it is easy to change the camera to a standard, day or thermal imaging one. It is also easy to change the radio transmitter in the tail section, the drone uses control frequencies from 180 MHz to 725 MHz, shown on the screen. There is a drone model with a fiber optic cable. Judging by the video, scotch tape is no longer needed, the drone has a convenient mount for combat loads. An automatic guidance system and the ability of the drone to fly along digital images of the terrain, without using GPS, are currently being developed. In the A9 6000 version, the drone has a payload of 3 kg and a flight range of up to 10 km. Flight duration without cargo is up to 45 minutes, with cargo - up to 15 minutes. The price is about 52,000 rubles or $600.

The system of evasion from UAV and FPV drone attacks has begun to be used in Russian reconnaissance UAVs ZALA Z-16. The Z-16 UAV is produced by the Izhevsk company "ZALA AERO GROUP Unmanned Systems", it also produces Lancet drones. The essence of the system is that a camera is installed on the upper part of the UAV, which records the approach of interceptor drones. After detecting a drone, the UAV begins to automatically perform evasive maneuvers. As is known, FPV drones have a short flight time and intensive maneuvering greatly discharges the battery. Now the system is vulnerable, since it records drones only in the upper and rear hemisphere, perhaps this has already been fixed

Everyone is used to remote work, but controlling drones in this way is still a novelty. The Tula manufacturer of FPV drones "Ovod", information about drones is on the channel, showed remote control of an FPV drone at a distance of 800 km. The drone operator was in Tula, the FPV drone was in Mariupol. The video shows the use of the drone at the training ground. The developers reported that controlling the drone at such a distance became possible thanks to the "Orbita" system, which was created in Tula. Technical details have not yet been disclosed. Thus, controlling an FPV drone, for example, from an office, will soon become a very real practice. Probably in the near future, remote command centers with drone operators will already be created.

In Simferopol, Russian developers showed a new high-speed FPV drone "Archangel" with a large range of up to 50 km. The developers optimized the aerodynamics, due to which, with the same batteries and motors, the drone moves much faster. Due to the different shape of the drone "Archangel", it was possible to achieve a flight speed of up to 280 kilometers per hour. Another key advantage of the drone is the versatility of its use. According to the developers, the drone can be launched from both ground platforms and carrier aircraft. The combat unit of the drone "Archangel" can weigh from 700 grams to 7 kilograms. The founder and head of the project Mikhail Filippov reported that the test drones have already passed the first tests, in the future, the model awaits serial production.

The Russian company Nova Labs showed a ready-made sample of the interceptor drone "Molot-Britva", earlier we showed prototypes. The interceptor drone is equipped with machine vision and an infrared homing head, it is able to independently recognize a target and home in on it. The interceptor drone "Molot-Britva", one might say an air defense system against drones, it is launched from a manual installation and carries out a kinetic interception of an enemy drone. The system operates on the principle of "fire and forget". The video also shows a training version, the interceptor then flies close to the target. The Russian portable anti-aircraft system "Molot" uses 3.4-kilogram interceptor drones. The system allows you to hit UAVs with a wingspan of up to 5 meters, at a range of 500 meters and an altitude of up to 2 kilometers. The interceptor can follow the target at a range of up to 3 kilometers and develops a speed of up to 250 km / h. Drones measuring 30-70 cm can be hit at a distance of up to 200 meters.

School textbooks on drones and UAVs have appeared in Russia, and now drones will be taught right in school lessons. The textbook "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" was developed for students in grades 8-9, as part of the federal program "Personnel for Unmanned Aerial Systems." At the moment, this is the only textbook for schoolchildren on the topic of unmanned aircraft systems that has successfully passed the state examination. The textbook "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Grades 8-9" has now received the status of a textbook. The textbook covers a variety of topics: from electrical engineering to drone design and basic manual control skills. It also contains a description of the development of programs for autonomous flights and the prospects for the development of the profession.
