The United States used three Corsair naval drones for the first time to attack Iranian port infrastructure. The target of the US naval drone attack was a submarine and naval maintenance facility in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
The Corsair naval drones were developed by the American company Saronic Technologies. The unmanned Corsair boat can carry up to 450 kg of payload over a range of over 1,850 km at a speed of approximately 65 km/h. The drone is controlled via the Starlink system.

Targetting bases /stationary targets seems to be the best Iran can do. It would probably be a big escalation if Iran managed to take out a Naval vessel from USN.

So I think Iran can only target the gulf countries and should do it relentlessly to force the nations to prevent US from using the bases to hit Iran, as it has been doing all this time.

I think the latest improvement of US-Turkish relationship is due to Americans making a decision to "bribe" the Turkish state into non-agression towards Israel. I don't know if it will work as intended but it seems plausible.

I also think the Hormuz situation will lead to US boots on Iran. The strait will become increasingly defunct as a result.
