in the current state? of course not. but do you really think if we buy f-35 we'll be just getting the plane and be done within a year? absolutely not! the process will take decades and it will give us enough time to prepare all the necessary infrastructure as well as training for the pilot...

in light of swiss choosing f-35, i wonder where is their f16 block 72 because LM says we need "bridge" to fill the gap before acquiring f-35, or was it just gimmick from LM part in order to sell their junk to us 🤔

and why in the hell that you think we don't need lrsam with abm capability? ballistic missile is very serious threat and so far we can do nothing to counter it. china doesn't need to invade us, all they have to do is to spam icbm to our cities and we will surrender in no time because we have no...

Yes. might as well designated it as F15id like we did to that crappy F16id. i don't get people obsession with downgraded stuff. sure it's improvement to have f-15QA with DEWS but it's just that, an F-15QA not F-15EX. remember what we buy today has to be future proof because we are not rich...

epawss is the core technology and it's what distinguish an f15ex from its predecessor. buying f15ex without epawss is not buying f15ex, what you get is walmart version of f15ex

using mogami as an asw platform doesn't make sense beacuse it's just general purpose frigate, why not opt for more specialized asw fremm?

cut the sarcasm pls, i base my argument on alman's writing while ago through his semar sentinel's infographic. he said that we are unlikely to get the full EX version.

if we are indeed getting the f-15, i don't think we are granted the EX version. the furthest we can get probably the qatari version.

tbh i'd rather take bremen class for the bonus instead of used subs, i mean after the last incident, a used subs is the last thing our navy wants

with $79 billion credit card, it is possible. i would put $35 billion for the navy, $25 billion for the air force, $10 billion for the army, $5 billion for mabes tni (satelite, c4sir) and $4 billion for local defense industry.

what you say here doesn't make sense. both torpedo and ashm are capable to sink a ship. you do realize that most torpedo has effective range less than 50km right? meanwhile an ashm can be three times or more of that.
