IMO, it looks like Iran has issued another warning in advance so that the attack is somewhat telegraphed and the coalition of Israel, USA, Britain, France and some of their Middle East allies will be in position to intercept most of the incoming ordinance.

All that would do, IMO, is give Bibi more fuel for the war effort and draw the Americans closer to the conflict. While it reasonable given the tactics Israel has used in killing other political and military leaders, I don't think it gets you closer to peace in any way if that's the goal!
