Is the F126 frigate an extended omega frigate? Since I remember that the first Omega frigate was reportedly to be around 6000 tons with 24 vls. The german F126 is a 10 000 ton destroyer.

Do you have any more information regarding the Omega frigate, and what configuration they offered to Indonesia? Nice!! I hope Indonesia got the Aster 30 on their FREMM. It makes me laugh when I see that the Moroccan FREMM only operates aster 15 on such a huge frigate. What's the configuration of...

I read that the OMEGA frigate was offered to Indonesia a while ago. What happened with the project? I can't find any information regarding the OMEGA frigate on the Damens official website however I find an older picture from last year that @JATOSINT took. It looks really similar to the SIGMA...

Very similar to the Moroccan approach that we learned from past experiences. Understandable that Indonesia is operating fighter jets from the US, France, South Korea, and Russia.

Logistical nightmare... That's also of course one of the options, and it seems to me that the leadership is heading this way. I have not followed the development in the news regarding Indonesia however I know that the leadership loves diversification. The F16 and the EX could use the same...

Indeed I would go for the EX over the F4 however Indonesia has already procured the F4. Upgrading the current F16 to block 70/72, while adding more f16 would be ideal. Later more F4 can get procured if the Indonesian leadership found it feasible.

Another batch of the Wing Long 2 was acquired 😁 We could assume that the total of drones in general are operating in many squadrons.

I'm not claiming that the F4 is superior to the EX however it's a twin-engine fighter with a good amount of range and payload. Basically, it serves the same mission profile..

If that's the case then it would be perhaps better to add two more squadrons of the Vipers to compliment the existing 33 F16s that Indonesia possesses. Indonesia already went for 42 twin-engine fighters of the F4. If the EX price would be that much then it would be perhaps more wise to add more...

The 36 fighters were the F15QA version and the deal was 6.2 billion USD. Currently, the US has not exported the EX version however there is interest from several nations including Israel, and Indonesia. Actually, the prices ranged from 80-130 million based on the configuration of the plane...

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

That is way too expensive.. I remember I read once that F15-EX with all the best features would have a price tag of around 130 million USD per fighter jet.

Aproximentaly 260 million per plane? Where did you get that figure from?

    Morocco Moroccan Industry

Actually, our production of aerospace parts is not that bad being around 40-50 % in the localization rate. The issue is that the publicity of news, and accomplishments does not get posted online. I just found the Twitter post I sent you just by luck. For now, it seems like Morocco wants to have...

TR Turkish Air Forces|News & Discussion

I dont know if Turkey has involved itself in the past when it comes to producing strategic air lifters however if they have not then a procurement with a production of a high localization rate could be a good start since TAI is fully booked with so many development projects and deliveries.

I find it fascinating, and I wish Morocco could develop at least 500 of the 2 000 M113 we have for unmanned mini- IFV. It would be nice to add an anti-tank launcher such as the KARAOK.

The interest of the ATAK has been there since 2017-2018. If the interest is still there then it means that Morocco have got guarantees.

I guess you refering to the requirements? No official information regarding your question however it should have all the modern features you can think off including long range missiles with a range exceeding 8+km. The light attack helicopter will accompany the apaches, and replace the old gazelle.
