Not sure how would they do it but my guess is simply modifying the existing rocket motor as a booster. I doubt it would be Block 3 though, as they want an anti ballistic missile for Block 3.

No need for negativity, it is fun to work on ideas like that; it ain't hype, it is people wondering to themselves. Discussions like that keep forums alive when developments become a bit too rare.
