Sir, I watched the video again and around 0:49(slow-mo) the missile is clearly rolling clock-wise(looking from behind).

15,181 is an rpm value, not thrust. A quick googling taught me that N1 is fan speed and N2 is the speed at engine core(it's a two-spool engine). Though, I don't know enough about turbofans to make sense of these figures. My guess is that engine speed and thrust do not progress linearly...

Only 6800N? It should produce around 27k N thrust if 6000lbf is achieved. Question: why is there two different RPMs, namely N1 and N2?

Syria already had S400s, which couldn't do shit against IAF. They would casually come all the way to Aleppo to bomb the city.

I guess it depends a bit on what Pakistan deem as good relations. Would they view it as betrayal if were to build good relations with India? What if China demanded them to do something that goes directly against our interests and threatened them with economic sanctions if they didn't comply...

i would have S-400 break down into its leptons if they guaranteed F110s supply. Otherwise we have an expensive scrap metal we refer to as KAAN.

If China can build good relations with India, Turkey can do as well. Besides, however imperfect it is, we're still a democracy. A different political party could throw Pakistan under the bus. Plus our engine situation, we might not be as reliable of an ally you think we are.

We were never truly a democracy. They were just biding their time. Russia invades Ukraine -> Europe is in panic mode -> Erdogan starts eliminating his opponents. This action was book definition of lawfare. And we've become too docile to do anything about it.

I would be very surprised if we get these aircrafts below $200m a piece. Remember, we have no infrastructure to service these jets. We will have to buy a lot of spare parts, maintanence systems, training equipment etc. + the missiles. It will be expensive

The idea of a software defined kill-switch has always seemed dumb to me. If you "put" that on the jets, no amount of security will be able to protect you 100% from your adversaries' cyber-attacks. They would pluck your jets out of the sky at the click of a few buttons. Why would you take such...

yes, it's extremely ambitious and almost certainly won't happen. if a "simple" hürjet with no mission capabilities take 3 years from ff to deliveries, KAAN has no chance to be delivered in 2028. they will adjust the calendar this year or the next year, imo.
