F-35 is limited by infrastructure and weapons/system ecosystem, for example if you put Greek F-35s against TurAF TF-X' they will lose because they lack the assets. F-35, MQ-28, B-21 etc. are systems in the structure of the USAF, F-35 even though being a really really good fighter, it would...

Oh, i meant future, like when AF's switch to more unmanned stuff

That's not how it works F-22's electronics are kind of already outdated F-35 i might agree but only for USA F-15EX is just a bomb truck of F-35, it would get bested by every low RCS platform there

Yes, F-35 will be superior, at least for this decade

What you are missing here is that F-15(EX) has enormous RCS (similar to flankers), like 10-15m² While with worst estimates being around 0.2m² for Kızılelma. F-15EX can carry as much as it wants but it can't use them if it cant see the Kızılelma. Without AI, Kızılelma will be limited in WVR...

i think he is talking about low RCS and agility, maybe radar could perform similar to F-15C' (with AI-322f, B version) Other than that F-15 has the edge

Yes, but nowhere near what we have achieved with EM waves

Well it can if we think of rear aspect but not much for frontal, actually you wont have much chance frontally if you are going at higher speeds than ~0.9 mach as air friction would cause the skin to heat up.

No, he is talking about detecting the Su-30

You can get firing solutions from IRST too, but it would be locked into only 1 aircraft. E.g Leonardo Pirate IRST

Exactly, somewhat external sensors for the 5/5.5/6 gen aircraft, making them able to combat without risking the main aircraft

it is also dependant on how good your radar and return dB is, (lower the return dB, lower the minimum signal that can be detected) T/R modules increase the resolution and protection against EW, also makes you able to allocate more antennas for EW or ED That's why peak power is important

Yes, you wont be getting a weapons lock without a radar lock, but there are some "modern" instances where you can use other aircraft radar via datalink to guide your missiles, we can give Kızılelma using TF-X radar to launch a missile as an example

TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

i would say that Su-30 has a bigger RCS, (around 8-10 range)

TR F-16 Özgür | Hürkuş - Fighter Trainer Aircraft Projects

Well, you don't. that's why low RCS is important, (if you want 1/2 detection range you need 16 times less RCS) You wont be locking on to a Kızılelma from 100 km while you can to F-16. Also 400km figure is the instrumental range, not detection or so
