there are systems like the MUM-T on the AH-64 E that can link up to an MQ-1 or an MQ-9 , maybe turkey can develop a pod (as you said) , integrate it with the jet (in a hardpoint like the Sniper XR) , and here you go

Why would you want an aircraft which is significantly better than F-16 and F-15 act as their loyal wingman? KE will turn any version of F-16 or F-15 into scrap metal. KE is an independent air superiority platform designed to operate on its own. TF-Xs wingman will be TISU.

your suggestion is like buying F-35 to be your F-16’s wingman.

i think he is talking about low RCS and agility, maybe radar could perform similar to F-15C' (with AI-322f, B version)

payload isn't the problem here , the aim is to succesfully destroy and return in one piece there is no point of engaging if mutual destruction is definite , it is just a waste of materials resources and in the f15s case lives . The rcs of a f15 is 25 m2 compared with KE which has a RCS of 0.25m2 so the f15 with 22 hardpoints will not even detect and see what hit him as the KE with max 8 hardpoints parts from the conflict area i presume

What you are missing here is that F-15(EX) has enormous RCS (similar to flankers), like 10-15m²
While with worst estimates being around 0.2m² for Kızılelma.

F-15EX can carry as much as it wants but it can't use them if it cant see the Kızılelma.


Without AI, Kızılelma will be limited in WVR but delays are not that important for BVR, which KE would have an advantage if the radar is not dogsh*t
