This guy is ranting. It doesn't make sense at all. The US is not pushing for a union between PKK and the KRG. They are attempting to introduce the KRG politically into PYD areas. To remove PKK influence.

The KRG are not the PKK, the problem here is Iran. I'm not sure how this is devolving into a "YPG/PKK state with advanced weaponry that Erdogan won't fight" discussion.

The KRG is Turkey's most important ally in the region and Erdogan as admitted this himself. If the pressure from Talabani, a lackluster nobody of a leader is causing this, then Turkey is completely failing at diplomacy.
