TR HÜRJET-Advanced Jet Trainer/ Light attack aircraft

Qatar operates pretty new Hawks and M346s. Hawks were delivered only few years ago and are based in UK in another joint RAF/Qatar squadron, while the Masters are based in Italy within IFTS. It's a small country with a small air force, they offload a big part of their training to others. They...

Failed products don't get ever growing orders. It's now operated by 3 navies, ordered by Japan and will probably also be ordered by Singapore and by Spain in the future as well. Only non American aligned navies with a carrier not using it will likely be France and Turkey. It is a great platform...

What? UK MoD will buy J-35 before they spend billions and years on converting the carriers to CATOBAR. That's not happening.

    TR Economy & Updates

We had the fortune of having a young population with a very nice population pyramid back then. We have managed to become the first country in the history to lose our population increase while not getting richer. This is a first and it's wholly untreaded.

As always, I like these maps of yours, but they are simply wrong. Qatar didn't order Hürjet, neither did Spain, yet. Total order count for Hürjet still sits at 16 for HvKK.

Spanish industry, led by Airbus, and Turkish Aerospace have signed a memorandum of understanding to identify and develop potential areas of collaboration on the ‘Advanced jet trainer aircraft, Integrated Training System - Combat (ITS-C)’ programme, which aims to replace the F-5M trainer aircraft...

Doubt it will be a issue for 8 out of 10 contracts. T129 was a contender against AH-1Z in both Philippines and Nigeria, beat AH-1Z in Philippines, got an equal contract against it in Nigeria. They won't make a fuss against a NATO ally like Spain. T-50 is a proven, mature platform with decades...

I'm pretty sure aside from Eurofying Hürjet, this will also help us in developing the aircraft furthermore for our use. 16 Spanish companies is the given number. It's a near complete coupling of Spanish aerodefence sector to Hürjet. But no order from the Spanish MoD just yet. - Beautiful.

Not at all, that's not how it works at all. You can't fast track a human rated engine. We see what we are going through with TS1400. -- Here it comes, our little baby is going international.

Very interesting, FNSS also signed a MoU with Cockerill and 2 Spanish companies, TSD and Oesia to present a design for the same program.

Make that 15. To add, there's nothing to suggest yet that Baykar's 20k frankenstein will be a human rated engine.

I'm expecting a Spanish local participation and development award to be signed rather than a deal between TAI and Spanish MoD. They will probably develop a Spanish Hürjet which will then enter its tests to be given the award. Let's see. Reading the article: "This event will mark the signing of...

Otokar isn't present at Feindef-25. But Arma II with an EM&E 105mm turret and Indra radars is shown on the Indra stand next to a Dragon VCR. I don't expect much to arrive from it, especially after yesterday's news about Indra looking to buy Iveco's military division. With good moves, a joint...

Sevres was better. We wouldn't have kept fighting and lose innocent people, there would be no issues with the foreign countries as we were to become a rump state in a tiny portion of Anatolia.
