yes, but I am worried that we won't have any modern fighterjets and these will be what we'll have to rely on, so having excess numbers would be good. Those 3 countries you mentioned have modern combat aircrafts and jets and not 29 F16 V last few delivered back in 2008 or so.

we need some stuff from the US to be able to produce the engine as I recall. TBH I think we should build the engines just to keep the knowhow alive and kicking, if we can produce the engine 100% ourselves, then we definitely should do so, even if we have to destroy it after the Q/C is done.

Guys we've been here before. Remember that TB2 has had over 1 mio flight hours, and if I'm not wrong the first TB2 built for TSK was retired and they got a new one. Now just think if the engines used on the TB2 had been our own engines. 1 mio. Flight hours would be fucking amazing milestone...

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that a flight usually take 30 min and less than 1 hour, so 200 flights isn't much tbh. But better than nothing. I was hoping for 1000 hours flight.
