Isn't that basically what happened with Trisula? I didn't want to say it outright but what do you expect. Aselsan being lacking in that claim, Havelsan lacks the capability to design and build its own radars by itself. Someone has to supply it. Maybe wait 5-10 years :)

That's interesting to say the least. I'm sure there's a Czech company out there to supply the radar. This would be a very interesting program, we haven't heard anything about it. Surely not a joint project, as we have no radars for an airborne platform for now and and there's no way they choose...

They aren't, raw material is the ore. What they are probably supplying is much, much more complicated and is a product in itself.

Our best look yet to an air force T70 CSAR helicopter with its LWR, MWR, RWR, RF jammer, FLIR and winch. Not sure about the winch, but rest are Aselsan products. Such a complete, great package. I do hope T70 issue is soon resolved and we can continue production.

It's not yet clear if the future Hürjet deal includes Spanish slated A400s being delivered to Turkey instead. Some of the quoted project costs for Spanish project I saw do make me think a barter is in the works, but we don't know.

Multiple things to consider here re future of Hürjet and its engine. EJ200 makes sense as it's ITAR free and many of the target customers do operate EJ200. It's also more expensive and more expensive to run. And it would have to be developed as a single engine instead of a twin as well with...

It's not just disappointing, it's the biggest fuck up of Turkish defence industry by all its related companies in the project so far. Every single one of them fumbled horribly. MKE, Roketsan, Aselsan, BMC, they all fucked up big.

What do you mean supposed to? We did not refuse the French offer, French didn't make an offer to us. Neither did Canadians or Korea back in the day. These supposed reasons for having to choose the Russian deal is unfounded. We required the project to be BOO. Only Russians were dumb/very clever...
