We will need more than 24-32.BAF has some big plans for 2030-2045. But TF-X will need to find major customers before any purchase can happen.BAF will likely not buy a Turkish fighter when options from Europe,ROK,Japan,USA etc will be available.

Even with proper munitions just 8 migs are totally worthless.Any proper airforce would have retired these aircrafts by now.Sadly the reality is that BAF nearly completely lacks air combat capability.Our aircrafts are only good for ground or maritime strike.

So both 60 sam bty and 48 ad regt are becoming sam regt.I guess these two are going to receive Hisar missiles in future.

All our old ships including BB are going to be replaced in next 8-9 years.New anti ship missiles will be deployed on new ships unless I am wrong. The project to build frigate in bangladesh is delayed.But new frigates are certainly going to join the fleet.In past BN planned to order 3 frigates...

Also manpads.They were supposed to be made with Chinese TOT as rumors suggest. but It seems army changed their mind.We can expect something from Europe,Turkey,Korea.

Nearly same here.Most people in our country are not enthusiastic about defence. If you wish we can connect in messenger or telegram to share our thoughts about Bangladeshi armed forces.

Very happy to hear about medium tanks.But do we have proper infrastructure to make them in Bangladesh?Also I believe the production rate is going to be very slow.It will be done in co operation with Turkey I guess. On the other hand this seems to be a right decision as most of the 120mm tanks...

BAF most certainly has more than one batteries.In 2011 they commissioned FM-90B but here in this pic you can clearly see FM-90C in test which were delivered after 2011.

But Air forces have more batteries than army AFAIK.

So that means 7 batteries total I guess.Do they plan to buy more?I think we seriously need sam systems with better range.

Bangladesh has also raised another shorad regiment.Any idea how many FM-90 batteries we have now?

That is an older version.The new one has increased turret protection but less side protection.

Some Bangladeshi sources are saying that we got TRLG 230.Can anyone confirm their claims?

Bangladesh is not transparent on defence related matters unlike other countries.Future projects and plans are rarely disclosed to public.Especially if the topic is becoming "Blue Water Navy". Such articles at best gives you a hint.
