Can anybody make a guess how many Otokar Arma 6x6 Estonian army is getting for 130 millions euro? 44x or maybe some other numbers? @Sanchez
On another note, I think one of the reason why they chose NMS 4x4 instead of Cobra ii is because NMS can carry 11 personal compared to 9 of Cobra ii...

On a side note-
@Nilgiri Do you think India's advance in ABM technology (AD-1 and AD-2) could potentially upset the strategic balance between two countries in the future and compromise the assurance of mutual destruction?

Amm…..did I say it did?
My point is, current fleet size and modernisation rate is not insufficient as it may partially appears to be, if we only look at TN's capabilities without factoring in Air force's capabilities and land based systems in context of Turkish geography.
I understand why some Turkish members would be unsatisfied with TN's fleet size, however one cannot overlook the fact that Türkiye is like an unsinkable aircraft carrier and Turkish air force can act a giant naval aviation carrying Atmaca, SOM, Cakir and able to strike enemy ships thousand km...
I thought Cobra ii was the favourite in the tender.
BD army really loved it for UN missions.
Our BTR-80 had no protection against mines and got blown away few times.
There was a plan to buy 600 of total LAV/MRAP.
But due to budgetary constraint, army only procured 100 Cobra ii amd 50 MAX...
Israeli officials did a bad job by posting fake videos and deleting tweets. They definitely damaged their credibility like that.
However, I agree. It looks more like PIJ Rocket fell apart on the Hospital.
This disscusion of who did it and who didn't, is very much important.
Israel is an state actor and Hamas is a non state actor.
Israel by definition enjoy all the international facilities while Hamas, designated by many as terrorists organizations, doesn't have any of these.
And these...
I suppose Korhan could do a similar job.
On another note- did you guys realise that using UGVs from so called manned command vehicle as the primary warfighting concpet will greatly compromise the stealth of the whole fire team?
Well...this is over exaggeration. A Tor battery of four vehicles cost approximately $60-100 millions. (Depending on the variant)
Thus, 1x Tor system cost $15-25 millions.
IMHO, I think that is gonna be the generation that comes after next generation.
Becuase, all of the next generation platforms that are in conceptual or prototype phase, are seems to be manned. (Abram X, KF-51, Armata-14, K-3 etc.)
Why engine on the front? That seems counter productive for IR signature reduction.
IMO, this technology is too complicated and expensive to be applied in real world operational scenario. SAAB's barracuda MSC and similar systems seems to do the job pretty well.
Besides, it is not about IR...
