For Turkey's last AIM-120 purchase in 2014, as per the DSCA logs,
Excluding the support equipment and further training, should be about 2 mil a piece?
While for the 2008 sale of 107 C-7s, it was $107 million at about 1.4 mil a piece...
I guess it's not a new tv channel but a web platform with publications on four languages, English, French, Swahili and Hausa. As TRT Arabic already exists, that would mean 4 of the biggest languages of the continent will be getting service. good work.
I don't know much about mortars. It it being wobbly after leaving the barrel that much normal?
2 years ago, a single 120mm Alkar equipped Vuran was also delivered to the army. Did we see a follow up order? Why does army hate automation?
Did Naruebet launch any aircrafts in the last 20 years? Poor thing is awaiting its retirement, afaik, they have no real plans to replace it and they lost the naval aviation part of it long time ago.
A129(and surely T129) can also land and embark on carriers. Can it fold its rotorblades and tail tho? I doubt initial version will be able to? If you mean that they took future "foldability" into account while designing it, that's lovely to hear.!
Poland would also be a natural customer for F-16Vs but didn't see the need or found the costs too high, they opted for FA-50s instead. Add to that, PZL makes parts for F-16s, they'd get a nice offset deal on top. Maybe you don't need F-16Vs when you already have the best US has for sale.
An FA Hürjet like KAI did with T-50->FA-50 could be thought about, of course. Not necessarily for our needs as well. Let's wait for her to do her first flight and garner a few thousand miles first before going into variants tho.
Malaysia bought 18 FA-50s for 50mil each while Philippines paid...
"We don't call Turks who are not Muslims, Turks. Why would we call Kurds who're not Muslims, Kurds? Why would we call them humans?"
How can one call themselves Turanist if they don't accept multitudes of Turkish tribes who are not Muslims, as Turks? Türk-İslamcı synthesis is at its deathbed...
Nah, pretty sure the reason for the treehuggers' original protest before whole country went up in arms was to stop the municipality from razing the Gezi Park to rebuild the Topçu Barracks. The actual Gezi protests came after zabıta and police tried to suffocate and kill those kids while sleeping...
I would usually say the same but as he mentioned both helis and fixed wing, I think they see a market there, where they maybe modify the T625 platform for a more barebones model that can carry tanks inside or personnel?
Other than bambi or buckets, Firehawks carry detachable water/retardant...
Thinking about it, as most of the forces are currently getting new T70s(licensing after 2024 is of course a problem) and DzKK is being left behind in the , would it be too absurd to think that DzKK could be the launch customer of the T925 in its general purpose version? Of course first prototype...
TB3 will not be a CATOBAR aircraft. Anadolu will also not be a CATOBAR carrier. It will more likely have a more basic pulley with an external power source to operate it, maybe not even that. If it can generate enough power, it could just take off under its own power using the skijump. We don't...
