I wonder if Baykar would or could consider an "empty" Kızılelma variant more in line with American Wingmen philosophy to get best of both worlds. Expensive autonomous fighter Kizilema and cheaper Özgür/Kaan controlled Wingmen Kızılelma from the same frame and assembly line.

This new claims it was from 30 miles. Relatively short distance but still not too bad for a first test. It also says that Kızılelma tracked and performed the simulated fire while performing a formation flight with one f-16. So we could assume they tested iff in some capacity too.

I don't see any reason why wouldn't the majority of both IRST and Radar processing be onboard just like a manned fighter jet. They would only transmits the things they detect/track which still is hard to do but nothing compared to video feed. Only exception to that would be Radar on SAR mode

Apprently Murad-100 AESA radar has been implemented to 6 platforms and they are "very satisifed" with its performance so far. I wonder what could these 6 platofroms be: 1 - F16 Özgür 2 2 - Akıncı 3 - Testbed 4 - Kızılelma(?) 5 - Anka-3(?) 6 - Hürjet(?)
