Just compare the F-35 to the F-16 which also has a ''kill switch'' but still is the backbone of our Air Force. Like @Yasar abi wrote,we need at least two squadrons of the F-35.

What about changing the fuel? Like liquid gas,is that a possible option? Is it ever been tested? Just asking.

The base is K-9 but the T-155 Fırtına differs from th K-9 in many ways(Turkish systems). Because of design/development of the Fırtına 2 we only produced 280 units out of the planned 350.
