TECHINT Turkey's Nuclear Weapons Development Projects

A large part of Turkish public, which includes significant portion of the security apparatus, believe US has a secret agenda to deliberately target Turkish territorial integrity i.e. establish kurdistan. I don't believe things are that straightforward. No dark room conspiring. It's just that the...

I have a dream that we get ukrainian engines and strap it to a slightly enlarged Hurjet to create a not-F16 so we can sell it to the underdeveloped countries to make big bucks. Hurjet-2 would be the new MiG.

I don't care about this to such an extent, if they were to strap a don't care-o-meter to me it would explode. Western support for YPG, however, is inexcusable. They support terrorist groups and threaten our territorial integrity. We must respond as hashly as we can, within reason.

M48's are old. What you are talking about needs reliability and mobility. I'm talking about cheap unmanned mobile pillboxes with reasonable sensors and 105 cannons. Conceptual application is there if you at least try to see it. Actually, I can't think of any other military having the same...

I thought of something; Do you guys think if we turned M48s into unmanned, half-mobile defensive platforms it would be good? The would help boost firepower and detection capabilities near the defensive position without risking the lives of the personnel. It would be easy to set up a new...

We should be looking into converting those into unmanned platforms with new turrets. They can be a serious boon in static lines such as the Syrian situation. Wouldn't be much help in mobile, fast operations though. Gotta stress I'm not an expert. What do you guys think? Is that doable?

Yes. Aegean Sea is a shallow body of water with islands everywhere. Big ships are not good in that environment. But what Anadolu provides is the ability to strike from the Ionian Sea.

If we had F-35s and Anadolu was operational, we would park it off the coast of Libya back when Hafthar was wilding. Don't get me wrong, the outcome would not be too different, but the coalition against us would not have the absurd dreams they have, and our job would probably be easier. Our...

What happens if they agree to a more simpler tech transfer? I don't know if British state apparatus has that much foresight, but helping Turkey with this would actually be the best thing they can do for their Tempest project. They would essentially guarantee TAI's transformation into an...

I may not go nowhere but what you think social class is is not social class. You're thinking about some kind of hereditary caste system. I'm talking about somewhat fluid groups. Example: Kemalist bureucrat/soldiers owned the country in the 90s, but no more. Being a public servant was very...

Actually, you are wrong about the definition of social classes. "A social class is a grouping of people into a set of hierarchical social categories, the most common being the upper, middle and lower classes. Membership in a social class can for example be dependent on education, wealth...

Who says you only have to have one radar, or one kind of radar? The one who is designated for medium to long range fighter jet hunting would probably be different than the missile hunter. You can even dump them into the battleground and use groups of radars intermittently to confuse enemy SEAD...

Decoys, mobility, anti-missile AA systems and something like a CIWS would be my guess. Not allowing the planes to get close enough to shoot those missiles would be the best defence.
