The airport is not bad on it’s own, but it is big so you really have to walk a lot. The most thing I don’t like is that once you landed, it takes an eternity for your plane to taxi to the gate. But other than that I like it.
Personally I don’t find the idea of a single engined plane that will be carrier capable good to me. A two engined plane would be more appropriate. If you have only one engine and it breaks in flight you have no chance to land back.
I kind of agree with @boredaf here. If we want something that would be carrier capable, wouldn’t it be better to develop something that would pack a punch instead ? Would it be worth all the trouble to navalized the Hurjet knowing that it’s payload capability is limited ?
Or like @Yasar_TR...
Exactly. Even 100 Kaan’s would be very expensive to acquire and maintain. Let alone ‘’300’’ or ‘’1000’’. 5th generation fighters are not designed to be produced as much as 4th generation fighters.
We also have the confirmation that the ATAK-2 is currently frozen, in priority to the Gokbey and the T925 Utility helicopter. But there’s nothing about the current status of Gokbeys in the article. When will they be delivered ?
Very interesting post ! So these HTS guys are supposed to be our ‘’allies’’ in Syria ? And we’re paying their salaries ? Or am I mixing with another group ?
Why would the state deport without a tangible reasons honest people whether they are Muslims or something else ? If you work properly, pay your taxes, etc .. then you shouldn’t worry a bit. Not that I trust the government but this nonsense isn’t realistic at all.

As expected, Erdogan condemns the ‘’xenophobia’’ and said nothing about the molested child.
Unless our people massively protests on the streets about all those refugees and migrants, nothing will change I’m afraid. Politicians won’t back down until they fell threatened.
Would be great if TEI decides to develop a 3000HP engine. But resources are limited, I guess. Turkey needs to be completely independent engines wise. It is one of our key weaknesses.
I disagree here. People in the West doesn’t give a damn about Turks or Turkey or anyone else. Like everywhere, people just want to live their life without being bothered. Those you describe are conservatives from the Balkans (Greece, Serbia, etc..)
Yeah but our border guards won’t do it. If they do they will be thrown in jail by the sultan. Refugees and migrants are first class citizens in Turkey. If you do something to them, you’re going to be in trouble.
