W.r.t drones with A2A missiles, NASAMs was very effective in ukraine and if we find Gökdemir compelling, I don't see why we can't have a drone that's effectively flying version of an air defence system.

I don't know the power output of akıncı but PD170 is 4.5×2 kW. Aksungur therefore has 18kW. I couldn't find info about PT-6 but what are the chances it's less than a PD170? I remember that for F16 A/B that for F16 A/B that's 30-40 kVA and for C/D it's 50/60kVA. So if 2 PT-6 can produce anywhere...

I mean sure they want but operating 240 Kaan and operating 240 F16 are monumentally different. Both regular cost and effort for maintenance etc will make that very difficult

Do we have any companies testing stuff like 6.8mm? It's kinda weird US army decided on it when like entire rest of nato is going for stuff like HK416 including US marines. It's gonna make logistics difficult. We would be smart to offer alternatives if nato at large decides to stock up on it.

If we try to make use as many common subsystems as possible I too support the idea of splitting project into two if given the budget. Light corvette and smaller FAC would make it easier to finalize requirements.
