Ok, seems like I have mixed the 100kg class KUZGUN family munitions with the lighter Sungur. If it were KUZGUN it would be too heavy to hang two of them on one wing of the TB2.

Yeah but there is one catch; you need to put one Sungur under each wing as you would knock off the spanwise balance of the plane when you drop two Sungurs from one side while you still have the sensor package of similar weight on the other side.

TAI have enough experience modifying the F16 and they have already started prototype production of the more advanced MMU, I would trust them a simpler plane like an F16 equivalent 4.5 gen plane. We need a plane to use a single MMU engine anyway as it would be a waste if we didn't make a plane...

TAI that are making the MMU is no child. I believe jet trainer aircraft are not as useful as they used to be so skip the trainer and make a full grown fighter and patch the gap that may be faced before MMU comes online.

Turbojets are faster than turbofans. This engine maybe for a medium range Gezgin like 800km and a future turbofan one maybe for the 1400km version.

A Ukrainan engine will be used for production of prototypes and possible initial batch and a Turkish engine will be used for serial production, same as SOM and Atmaca. Demir didn't say this much but it sounded like it.
