He better not, deterrence credibility of superpowers relies on their ability and willingness to not back down. And one thing everybody knows for (almost) certainty, United States won't back down. That is what gives NATO's nuclear umbrella credibility.

@TheInsider After reading about Ukraine's recent SAM ambushes with Patriot batteries where they covertly set up one or two launchers several dozen km forward from the radar with fiber cables and then catches Russian jets off guard, I wonder if SIPER battery has the same flexibility where...
