Atom is more or less a time fuze the difference is that it is programmed once it leaves the barrel. Maybe it has like fixed time fuzes for different ranges (250m 500m 750m ...)and the rounds are programmed before being fired like in the belt.
I would like to know what the 20mm munition is because it looks like it detonates close to the target but i dont see any device at the muzzle for programming. Maybe proximity but that would make it more expensive that atom
I am still hoping than at least 2 can fit inside of kaan because then we would have deep strike capabilities with Neb 2 Hayalet which can penetrate up to 8 meters of concrete or 60 meters of rock (msb claims). If not we will have to wait for anka 4 with twin engine variant.
Should be more than 5k but also depends on the airforce needs and tubitak is probably the smallest producer here
Asfat, roketsan and Aselsan should all have larger capacity
This is a nice analysis
He says/guesses that truck Hisar A will serve together Trailer Korkut as shorad for siper systems.
Makes sense Siper has need of close protection as we have seen in Russia and this is the most economical answer for that maybe even some energy weapons will be integrated.
i mean MK84 bomb is used under special circumstances if you want to destroy a large area or as bunker buster. MK82/83 are the standard for most operations. Also guidance kits not bombs and these would be used when enemy air defence is no longer a threat
I would support economic cooperation even support between Turkey and armenia even if there are still some hostilities coming from them simply to fu** the Russians same with georgia even some military support if possible. Also erdo needs to be on his best behaviour no needles threats to anyone...
Different causes for each. F126 got scrapped because of mismanagement and delays and partly because of cost overruns. Type 83 didn’t happen because they have no budget as a large percentage of the budget is for the nuclear force which is also in a sorry state. Most likely by the next decade...
Only partially true there were some opposition to us buying patriot but the real reason why we didn’t get it was firstly we wanted transfer of technology (or at least some local industry involved) secondly price the American as always sell stuff to us at a high price as most foreign countries...
This would likely have different effects
Turkish benefits:
- co production of aster missiles in turkey with turkish firms as sub contractors as well as co developers
- intergration of aster 30 (anti ballistic) in to siper and midlas
- ToT of technology for turkish use without constraints...
