Sure. But having the space is not the only issue. The testing and the logistics of the finished aircraft is also a concern. Imo, companies should have different facilities for prototyping and serial production. They should be purpose-built places for the maximum efficiency for cost, time and...
Isn't this building directly connected to the design bureau? I think it's a very convenient place for rapid prototyping. I would use it for different prototypes in the future as well. The engineers could implement the design changes very fast. Is the building big enough for accommodating both...
I've been browsing the internet for hours now and I must admit that the most stupid comments and questions are coming from Turks, not from Greeks or Iranians or any other ethnicities. It's clear that the project has some political gains but it would be the same for any country who achieves...
Because serial production of the aircraft means the serial production of all of its subsytems down its bolts. And building a production line for a fighter jet will be a different territory for TAI. I'm sure they will manage it but it won't be very easy. We're accustomed to very high-standards...
The next few month will be a roller-coaster. So many developments and revelations. Be ready.
Today I'm delirious. It's like there's a hanger in my mouth. I can't stop smiling. Ridiculous me 😂
In my wildest imagination I couldn't imagine we'd get something like this today. No words to describe the moment I saw her the first time. She is the definition of love for me. 🥰 Something this large could be so gorgeous? Who knew.. Mad props to the engineers and the technicians and whoever...
I'm in Karasu. 20km from earthquake center and I was up. It was super-scary. A few of my books dropped from shelves. As a person who experienced 99 earthquake in Yalova, I though it was it. It's the expected Istanbul earthquake. Thankfully, it didn't last long but some people went outside.
I'm curious if the 3d printed titanium bulkheads satisfy the requirements. That was one of the possible obstacles of the program along with the engines.
Hürjet went into final-assembly in June but 5 months later we still haven't seen it as complete as the picture posted above. What I'm saying is, it would be unfair to expect of the first TFX prototype to be as far along as the aircraft above just days after its final-assembly starts.
It has just moved to the final-assembly. It cannot look like this, yet. Maybe we should calm down a bit and lower the expectations. The more we expect the less satisfaction we'll get from tomorrow.

I know. It's just a fantasy. If that process required one or two weeks more, I would simply wait and release all together. The whole forum would be high for a week 😂
It would be one of the best days of my life if we saw these tomorrow all in one day:
1. TFX in final-assembly
2. Hürjet standing on its own legs.
3. KIZILELMA first flight video
I would declare it as a national holiday and celebrate it every year 😂
