Everyone's talking defence ties, but the obvious answer is: a FTA and investments in each others countries. Turkey has a bigger industrial base then let's say Pakistan and can invest and with local factories. In the future R&D and exports into other markets from Pakistan to other Asian markets...
We should finally stop this mess and go for something realistic. FTA and free movement, join the EU standards for rule of law, consumer protection etc without becoming a member.
