Don’t know about the law. There are also comments from tourist (Turks who live in Europe) who said that the place didn’t feel like you were in Turkiye but an Arabic country. Either way I’m gonna visit Uzungöl in the next few weeks. Gonna confirm if it’s true and maybe take some pictures.
I’m not surprised to be completely honest. Mind you this might be just the tip of the iceberg. I swear this government is the most corrupt of whole Turkish history. They will even sell their mothers for money and votes.
Not necessarily, tourists from all over the world comes to visit Turkiye. They know that Turkey’s economy is in bad shape. Also you can’t put all the blame on foreigners for the economic issues, the Turkish government has also a big chunk of responsibility in that mess.
