If i recall right the number of the program+Procurment is between 3-5 billion usd. ( 1 billion only the program cost).
When it comes to the I-Class/Altay then im refering to the development program excluding procurment.
All the numbers are based on estimates that have been made in the forum. If im not mistaken it was @Yasar that mentioned that the hisar A+, and Hisar o+ have a program cost of aproximentaly 600 million dollars.
-The development cost of the MMU will be around 10 billion $.
-The development cost of the T929 will be just under 1 billion $."
- 1.5 billion dollar I-Class frigate program
-1billion dollar OPV program
-2.5 billion dollar Altay tank program
- 1 Billion dollars for the hisar/Siper air...
I do get your point fully! However, PKK, and Hamas are two different entities. We could probably agree, or disagree with each other but let's be frank here. Hamas won the legislative Palestinian election in 2006. Perhaps Turkey like many countries in the East does not stamp Hamas as a terrorist...
Is anyone here that can give us an estimate of the Program cost of different projects in the Turkish defense industry?
i can name a few projects :)
-ALTAY TANK
-FNSS PARS
-BMC KIRPI
-KORKUT
-HISAR A/O/RF/SIPER
-TRLG series

Other countries including Israel have been supporting PKK for decades. Dont think that if turkey bow down, then they will find a common ground. Israel said openly that they support PKK, so i hope the Turkish leadership dont fall for their schemes.
Selçuk Bayraktar: "Turkey buys SİHAs at 1/3 the price compared to other countries." So the Turkish armed forces buy the drones at almost the cost of the price of the production, or did I misunderstand the tweet?
If the SNA had manpads the russians would bomb from high alltitude missing their targets by atleast 1 km😂 Seriosly they should get alot of manpads, aswell as anti tank missiles. The western world are proffesionals in using proxies around the world. Turkey should do the same method. Tell them to...
Did you know ?
France alone has spent more than 1800 billion francs (+- 2000 billion € ) to defeat the rifains in northern Morocco. To get an idea, that's as much as US spending in 20 years of fighting in Afghanistan.
7 Polisario militiamen were shot dead by Moroccan soldiers today near Mahbes during a land military operation. Among the killed, one is of Mauritanian nationality, another Malian.
If I'm not mistaken the production will start by early 2025. We will see the first deliveries to the Turkish armed forces followed by the export market. Maybe by 2027? I don't know the production capability that TAI will have regarding the production of ATAK 2.
Still possible to negotiate even if they have not started production yet. It requires trust from the buyer but possible. If it's the T-129 then Morocco could be one of the buyers. We were close to a deal many times but the engine issues stalled the final agreement.
