What choice do they have? They crave international recognition. Shooting at women and children isn't going to get them any legitimacy. But they can't help themselves - will end up shooting women and children anyway - it's what they usually do.
Already posted that it was Indian media itself which exposed some bombastic coverage of Taliban with fake news fact checks. So painting the entire Indian media with the same brush is downright rubbish. The irony is quite striking given that from this Dawn newspaper it seems the Govt. of Pakistan...
