Looks like they just lengthened the empennage a bit to deal with the wake turbulence that messed up the stabiliser just enough (apparently) in the earlier model. I see wing fences too...probably to reduce energy of this wake from cross-span flow. Hope all goes well.

Again you can troll as much as you would like. I've seen thousands more talking about F-35 audits and problems during its development. I guess that means the F-35 and US defence industry is "a joke" to "everyone"....all because of an individual's agenda to cherrypick with no context. Rather...

That has been sitting around unused for some years now....and the same murmurs of A B and C being potential offers were given around that time too. What has really changed in where India even has spare capacity (given priority of vast own needs having to be transferred from current import...

Nice.... is there a page or resource regarding further development of this project?

There are no miracle superweapons, at least for the vast bulk of conventional engagements. Everything is matter of breakthrough and counter-breakthrough...and lot of things held close to the chest on the most significant ones regarding these....and that only really has chips called during a war...

Also given it is asserted 1 billion deal for light armoured vehicle RFP is what now tipped trade of BD-Turkey trade to be bigger than say Pak-BD trade, it would be useful if someone has actual update on this since all the news are from 2017, but nothing since...

Are you trying to troll or something? There is no need to bring this kind of agenda out of the blue in some zero-sum suggestion way, countries compete and develop over time in all sectors as they can and see fit to. If you first want to brag about "battle-proven"....you can first see which...

Not really, India was not bidder in the RFP. I believe a bunch of chinese platforms were, and hopefully Turkey beats them to the punch. This development is something else, we have to see how it goes. Akash-NG for example is what I believe is being talked about here, it is a different range...

Yeah but this is from depressed economy still having reduced imports significantly. Oil imports for example have considerably decreased....both by lower price and lower volume demanded by Indian economy due to lockdown. This is just one example, there are several more. It will take some time...

Yeah well US is a mighty country compared to Germany (esp in military + geopolitical terms)... having 500,000 there and well organised in political pressure groups gets lot more done by having millions in smaller western countries. Germany also punches well below its economic weight when it...

I agree overall with the conclusion you come to overall, but this process you take I have a slight problem with. I don't think having a statement (that you want another legal system) necessarily is unlawful or declaration of war. Unless shariah is so egregious in existence to the very concept...

https://business.gov.au/cdic/news-for-defence-industry/enhanced-active-phased-array-and-passive-radar-capability-sicp-plans-released The Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Melissa Price MP, has released the Implementation Plan for the Enhanced active phased array and passive radar...

Maybe it include the weapons package and also total cost of life support etc? From: https://navyrecognition.com/index.php/news/defence-news/2020/november/9297-parliament-of-germany-approves-budget-to-acquire-31-sea-tiger-naval-helicopters-for-their-frigates.html The Multi Role Frigate...

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/armenian-americans-build-support-former-homeland-fragile-peace-holds-nagorno-n1247864 Half a world away, half a million Americans of Armenian descent could help determine the course of war and peace in this troubled region, as they wield influence, experts...

Original RFP bids envisaged local build. (Amounted to about 3 billion USD for 4 ships). L&T teamed up with Navantia Pipavav (RNEL) teamed up with DCNS (naval group now). It was billed as largest private shipyard contract thus far in India. RNEL going bankrupt (and now in proceedings regd...

A real pity: https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/arecibo-decommissioned-1.5808490 Though I can see why they wrote it off looking at pictures of it now.
